Marquette wraps up non-conference play with a trip to Mackey Arena, where they'll take on a Purdue team that is among the favorites to win the National Championship. The Boilermakers return an elite offense but have some defensive questions to answer if they'll be among the nation's best.

That last game at Mackey was a great game to be at. I hope this will be a similar experience except for an MU win, of course. Realistically a win will be very difficult to come by. But a similar effort by MU, with lead changes throughout the game, would be a good omen going into the conference season.
Can someone remind me... what are reasonable travel options if flying in? Indy, then drive? Airport nearby?
Have never been there, but have experiences with their fans (eg, last Maui
Invitational on Oahu)

You can fly into Lafayette, but only on United. It's about an hour north of Indy's airport. That would be easier IMO than driving from Chicago.
