A familiar face will lead the Terrapins to Milwaukee for Marquette's biggest home contest of the non-conference. Today Cracked Sidewalks looks at what we can expect from Buzz Williams' first campaign at Maryland, as well as looking back at why "I'll be here as long as they'll have me" might not be as dishonest a quote as Marquette fans thought when Williams left Milwaukee for Virginia Tech in 2014.

Nice write up. Thanks Brew. Will be a fun game to be at. Appreciate the success under Buzz.
In that long list of weird buzz stuff you should include Malek Harris lighting a girl's hair on fire and signing the head case that was Nick Noskowiak.

It's wild how much stuff was going on. So many more single game suspensions that I didn't mention either.
At least add the toilet flushing anecdotes

I was at a bachelor party recently and a guy there works in compliance at Maryland. Figured Id asked him if there was any truth to this rumor so the guy texted a grad manager asking about it during the bachelor party. Got a response from that manager that he'd never heard anything like that. It was extremely disappointing to say the least.

Buzz must have already had the meeting where he circled everyone up, got their stories straight, and told them not to say anything outside those four walls.

I'm going to choose to ignore this regardless

Game day bump! We looked at Maryland's efficiency and shot charts to see what Marquette was likely to face today. So far, the offense is inefficient, the defense is only better when the opponent is throwing the ball away, and they are down two starters...

Ah yes, rape and underage drinking, alterations, during the Lonesome Cowboys reign. Was he trying to replicate the McGuire era. If he was, the thuggery was there, but he didn't bring in the street fighter studs that Al managed every year. The Google old days.

Does that include Myles Rice? Haven't seen anything on him yet. If he's out, then they're pretty short handed.

He only played against Georgetown and according to some Maryland fans on Trilly's Discord, they don't expect him to play today. He won't fix their offensive turnover issues, but they are really limited in terms of creation if he isn't there.
