Editor's Note: This is the second game of the season, Little Rock was published out of order.
This year's Southern team projects as one of the best SWAC teams since the dawn of advanced metrics. Their combination of talent, depth, and retention that is rare in the portal era could lead to the first ever SWAC team to count as Quadrant 3 opponent. Cracked Sidewalks has your breakdown of the Jaguars.

I'm worried.
It's game day! I watched the Arkansas/Southern game yesterday and updated the preview with a short addendum on what we've learned about the Jaguars.
So, fast paced, back and forth, hope MU guards can handle the pressure.

My advice, bet the over. Gonna be 80-85 possessions.
Poor in transition.
Does that mean we could expect to see more of the lineup we thought we'd see with Parham at the 4 and Ben at the 5? Seem like better transition movers than Caedin.

If they play like they did against Arkansas, it probably wouldn't matter. They were lazy getting back and it led to a number of 2-on-0 or 3-on-1 type runouts.
