I haven't seen anything lately and I can understand that with the advent of NIL and dropping some athletic scholarships, this might not happen in the near future. Just wondering if anyone knows anything?
Based on the Women's Soccwr scholarship situation and Broeker's emails about the House Settlement, I feel this is on the back burner.
The arms race for facilities is goin to cool down. You don't need 13 zero gravity treadmills when you're paying the kids.

The Marquette men are near the bottom of the Big East right now because the Kasten Gym has the 1 fullcourt and you can't even shoot at the side baskets if they are practicing some fullcourt drills.
The McGuire Center is a very nice facility for 2 sports and unfortunately, the school has 3 sports to fit into that venue.

I get it. I know coaches love the side by side. The Bucks have that. However, I was just at a big time SEC program that recenty opened a 10 million practice facility and it was single court. I wouldn't act like MU is Seton Hall facilities wise.

If it's Vanderbilt's facility or any other in the SEC, you have to realize they have their own arena to supplement practice time.
Ted, I don't think too many are questioning whether or not that would be a nice addition, just that Marquette's fundraising priorities have likely changed in a post-House environment.

My first post stated that I thought that was the reason and I can understand that.
