Absolutely horrible news. Barb is probably the most underrated person in the renewed rise of Marquette basketball over the last 20+ years, just an absolute All Star behind the scenes. Then she brought on her daughter Allison who had a huge role in transforming the program's player development off the court, starting with nutrition and then mental health and overall wellness.
My sisters and I grew up with her daughters and she's an absolutely amazing person beyond her work, and a great family overall. Prayers up for a miracle
PBI, Thank you for sharing this. I just came here to do the same.
Barb was the heartbeat of MUBB for 20 plus years. She just retired and if you know Barb and Rich, they were primed for some fun. Lets hope she can get all prays and money she needs and can beat this thing. If anyone can, it's her. God bless her.
Very sad to read this.
Barb is a Grade A person. Praying she kicks cancer's ass.

thx for posting. I'll contribute. Allison Kellaher played a huge role working w/Wojo in organizing a team gift for the son of a MU classmate who was fighting cancer. (now cancer free!!). My honor to contribute to a fund for Mrs Kellaher.
Barb passed away this week. She was a good one. MU and the world lost a lot.
sorry to hear
I am sure her daughter will continue her legacy.
