I'm not sure I've ever seen a coach make his own coaching tree.
It's a coaching shrub.
Okay, honest question, who are some of these he referring to? Left to right we have: Indiana, Drake, Missouri, SIUE, ETSU, High Point, Indiana again, Jacksonville U, Colorado State, Northern Michigan.
- Indiana: ???
- Drake: Asst Gavin Block, DOBO at Bradley
- Missouri: Asst Ryan Sharbaugh, Assistant at Bradley
- SIUE: HC Brian Barone, Assistant at UWGB
- ETSU: Asst Brian Jones, Assistant at Bradley
- High Point: Asst Mike Nesbitt, Video Ops at Bradley
- Indiana: ???
- Jacksonville U: Asst Troy Pierce, Video Ops at Bradley
- Colorado State: Asst Jimmie Foster, Associate HC at Bradley
- Northern Michigan (D2): HC Matt Majkrzak, SA at UW-Green Bay
I certainly don't think Darian DeVries is part of his tree. No idea who else at Indiana (checked the women's staff, too). For a second I thought he was claiming Dennis Gates because he was a grad assistant at Marquette when Wardle was DOBO. Any ideas on the Indiana coaches?
Mike Bargen is an assistant in some capacity at Indiana.

Good catch, looks like that makes Drew Adams the other Bradley assistant at IU (recently hired by DeVries, but neither are on the IU website yet).
Good for Mike. He's certainly paid his dues.
the goal of any boss should be to prepare his or her underlings to move on to bigger and better positions professionally. Say what you will about Wadle's post but he's certainly been successful in doing that.
I wonder what Oluoma Nnamaka is doing these days. His consistency was off the charts.

Should have an award named after him.

While trying to come up with one, I came up with "Wardle boarding" for when he runs off a player... a la Buzz Cutting or Creaning.
