Shaka was featured on ESPN Pardon The Interruption yesterday and today celebrating his Final Four Run Anniversary. But also praising Shaka for his overall work at Marquette and not using the Portal too. Tony Kornheiser said he found Shaka to be a very likeable fellow and his co host agreed.
When I was watching the Arizona Duke game last night they said Tommy Lloyd is the first coach in AZ history to take his teams to the NCAA tournament in each of his first 4 seasons..........apparently they thought it was quite the accomplishment.
I wish we could find a coach who could do that........
If he went to the dance his first 4 years, he must have a pretty good idea what he is doing.

Now, to be fair, Lloyd does have three Sweet 16 appearances and two conference titles in those 4 years.
