Good for Kam!

Except he's clearly better than Sears.

Was McNeil an all American?  I forget.  I only ask because he took over his scoring record for second place all time.  With a sweet sixteen, all American honors and TBD success this tournament is he banner worthy?  I think he is now but especially if things go right this week.

Flagg and Broome were unanimous.

Kam finished 7th in voting behind the 5 first-teamers and Toppin.

Toppin and Kam were well behind Clayton.

Still, pretty damn good. Congrats to #1!

Agree at least 25% 4/15
2 AP 2nd Teamers Big East
2 AP 3rd Teamers Big East

Also  The Big East has the 2nd most teams in "The Big Dance" as percentage % of conference in.
Big East 45%
Big 10 44%
Big 12 43%

Jerel was a second team in 2009 by the AP and Sporting News.

In a lot of meaningful PG categories - including eFG%, A/TO ratio and FG% - Kam is superior to Smith and Sears.

Clearly got "punished" for struggling with his shot for a couple months, which isn't really surprising.

That's right.  It was vaguely familiar to me.  Thank you.

Sears was actually benched by Nate Oates in a couple games and is much more inconsistent than Kam. Not sure what the voters were thinking putting him first team. I wouldn't even put him first team SEC.

Yep.....Sears was great at one thing.....getting to the free throw line and making them. Other than that pretty mediocre stuff.........
