I think we had one Friday night in 17 years pre-Shaka. Three straight now.
That's not something I take for granted. Really cool.
Game time?
Who is carrying the game?
I've always said the Friday night semi's in the Garden is the best basketball night of the season. So much fun and an incredible atmosphere.

It's on Flo Hoops, same as the Georgia game.

Definitely helps not having a crappy season and having to play on Wednesday.

Just balance out the bong hits with something else. It's what Jesus would do.
Gonna be a wild crowd
Stay healthy and probably not a bad thing to just lose and get extra rest
Got a clutch win for momentum into next week already.
Hoping UConn wins tonight because their fans will be rooting against St. John's.

Think the PC semi-final last year broke Oso for the NCAAs. Just get out injury free and I'll be happy.

What loser mentality.
Play to win.
I don't care about the rest. I want to win out.

I wouldn't count on much support from them. I think they want them in the final.

Hell yeah. UConn didn't pack it in last year and won both. Let's do the same.
I've always thought conference tournaments are dumb (though I've always had a great time at them) so I've never really cared much about winning them. Plus it seems like they rarely affect seeding.
Winning the regular season is more impressive to me. I think that's what should get the auto-bid.
That being said, it seems like things are really bunched up seeding wise so I do think these games will matter this year.

The 2023 game against UConn is probably the greatest sporting event I've ever attended live. An absolutely exhilarating experience.

Obviously, you were not alive in March 1977.
That was the best ever.

Right, we won't play at earliest Thursday of next week. Plenty of time to rest and recover.
Go all out.

Good call
Last two years, I was of the mindset that it was fine to bow out early, stay healthy, get ready for the big dance.
This year, I think for the confidence of the team, I'd love to see them take down the Johnnies and make it at least back to the finals. Today was a good step, but want them to string together a few Ws to remind them of who they are. And, even a half a seed line bump could be a difference next week, so leave nothing to chance.

I think MU needs to win. Prior to the X win we were projected as an 8 seed. X + a loss doesn't move the seed line. We are playing for the Sweet 16+. Having to play a one seed in the second round isn't a recipe for a deep run. Get past St John's and I think we move up a line or two.
The prognosticators aren't giving the Big East much love. St John's is listed as a three in a lot of places. The Big 10/SEC/Big 12 make up the vast majority of 1-4. Both Wisco and Purdue are projected as 4 seeds. MU beat them both.
Would love three straight Saturday Nights.
