Lot of good contributions tonight. Jop's defense was awesome and if he had hit a couple of his open 3s he'd have a shot. Chase was awesome offensively but got lit up defensively. Royce and Zaide were good off the bench. Kam was solid but still not shooting it well. Wish Gold's 3 would've counted on the Stevie foul, because he did a lot of good things outside of scoring.
But Stevie is the clear choice to me. Probably should've given him a shot at Longino.
Stevie. But Chase dropped two Mammoth triples.
Ramsey
Big East DPOY
Stevie or Chase (I'd go with Stevie).
But shoutout to Gold and his at the rim defense. He is under-appreciated.
The pace of the first half.
1of1

His defense in the first half was immaculate. I have been beating that drum for a while. I am glad somebody else noticed.
BTW, Stevie.
Stevie. Chase was great as well. Nice three by Zaide to stop a Nova run as well.
Stevie...just ahead of Chase.
Stevie with Chase close behind

Stevie but Ben was a monster on the boards and early defense.
Jop defense made Dixon's 18 points not matter.
Oh, and Chase's hair gets an honorable mention.

CHase killed a couple mammoths?? Love it
I still go Stevie
Chase played very well, got to the line and converted a bunch, and made two mammoth 3s in a very important stretch...
Which makes this one of Stevie's most impressive SoGs.
He was better defensively, and brought offensive production that puts this team over the top.
We've come to not really expect Steve to contribute a ton offensively (18 total pts the last 3 combined), but this years team might really need him to do so more often.
He was very aggressive, definitive, under control, and uber efficient offensively.
Lovely stuff
Stevie with huge assists from Chase.
Ben has settled into his role beautifully.
Good games from a lotta guys but STOG is #4, Stevie Mitchell.

+10000
Ben hasn't had a bad game since I said it's about time he showed that he's a high major player.
He's been wonderful, really playing within himself and doing all the things the team needs him to do.
Shot looks awesome too, much more consistent.
He's in a great place and so is his backup.
We are much better off at the 5 than I woulda guessed before the season started
Viper does not think Ben is a very good college basketball player. Too busy watching RED to really know, though. Has to prepare himself for his RED in laws.
Ben is a borderline really good college player
If he could be a little less simple jack on his drives when he clearly has a path, watch out.
His wall up D with some boards and quality 3 shooting is great.
One of the nicest things about this season is seeing Stevie finally get the appreciation that he has long deserved.
Stewie Stevie Mitchell..... huge all game
Stevie but I ordered a Kiwi t-shirt

Stevie is the key. When he is aggressive offensively it makes our offense so much better.
Stevie but lots of good contributions
Jop had another rough shooting game but made the play of the game with that chase down block when we were teetering.....turned into a Lowery 3 on the other end.
Nice to get contribution's from Zaire and Royce.

If your opponent has to resort to inefficient long mid range to keep it close, you're defending well

They don't know that no one takes that shot because it's the most inefficient shot in the game...
They don't know that because their coach is Kyle Neptune.

Yes it's an inefficient shot.......but offense isn't the problem with this Nova team.
They are 12th in offensive efficiency and 187th in defense.
They are literally MU in the Wojo years.

Inefficient? Mid range and Aircraft Carriers is the solution
Since MU covered, Stewie
Stewie, that steal where he ripped the ball away from Dixon? Chef's kiss.
Shout outs to Gold and Joplin for quality defensive work.

We need a V-22 Osprey mid range so when it lands on our aircraft carrier in flames both are taken out of commission. Builds character for the tournament

Yes sir, love what he brings. A few more drives to the hoop where he finishes with strength and he will be a complete payer at the stretch 4/5 spot.
Stevie for stud of the game.

That was one of the big plays of the game. Put it together with all the other stuff he did, and Stevie's a fairly easy choice. And that's saying something given the contributions we got from numerous players, including Lowery and Parham off the bench.

That was a tremendous and important block. Jop actually had a chance to really crush the sequence but he missed an open 3. Zaide got the rebound and nailed his 3. Brought lots of fans in my section to their feet.
SOTG Stevie Mitchell
Honorable Mention Chase Ross
2nd Honorable Mention Ben Gold
