Title: Room for improvement after the 'nova game
Post by: tower912 on February 26, 2008, 08:19:03 PM
Manoman, I loved that second half.   Nearly flawless execution in the second half.   Only two things that struck me as needing improvement.    1.  Rebounding.   Outrebounded by double digits by a team roughly our size.   2.  Jerel's obsession with driving the baseline into a triple team,  jumping in the air, and then trying to figure out what the hell he is going to do with the ball.   Loved the steals, the passion, the offensive execution from the entire team.   Loved TM drawing another charge.   Loved the lack of stupid bumping fouls 30 feet from the basket by Lazar.     Now lets take down G-town!!!!!!

They're playing incredibly well.  My $.02 is that Jerel needs to stop shooting 3's.

Offensive Rebounding Percentage concerns me a great deal.

I am concerned with the number of fouls we are making at the end of games when we have a lead.  First St. Johns and now Villanova.
