On the way home from work last night I was behind a car with multiple Xavier stickers. We came up to a stop sign at a T intersection and instead of getting over to the left since they were making a left turn, they stayed in the center so I couldn't get by to make a right turn and had to wait a full extra minute.

Marquette should be a heavy favorite in this one, and they should win. The beauty of College Hoops is none of that means they will win, but they should.

Swain listed specifically as a guard in box scores. Either way, Joplin has an advantage against the Muskies.
Not sure where that box score comes from.
Pomeroy lists Swain at PF/SF and at 6'8" 220 he's basically the same size as Joplin.

Based on how MU has played in conference games, with only the Providence game being decided before the final minutes, you have to expect a close game.
If MU covers the 9 point spread it will probably be by pulling away in the last 2 minutes and not by holding a comfortable lead through the second half.
It's hard to tell if MU is due for a dominant game or if they're riding for a fall. Maybe being home with the students here for a weekend game will provide a spark.

Not sure why this is relevant to Jop having an advantage or not. If the implication is that he has an advantage because a guard can't defend him, that's silly. Swain is one of the best defenders in the BEast and is 6'8" 220. It also doesn't matter because they will likely put Swain on Kam to try and slow him down.

Jop's dribbling/driving has been largely fine to good for about ten games now. Bad possession but it doesn't happen much at all anymore.
We cannot get the ball near the rim.... And we need to the considering the way we are shooting. Need to solve that one. Shaka wants the, there. Seems like we never have a guy open to pass to for an entry pass near the basket. Ben gets open sometimes like Oso did but none ever throws him the ball

Gotta get Ben a triple or two. Change them packing the paint. We also have to find a way to get to the line. Stevie has to be a big part of the 2H imo. Very disappointing 20 mins.
If we don't win turnover margin by a big number/get fast break points, we struggle. Teams loading up on Kam and rest of the team has been mediocre during conference play.
No reason to turn on our team and discount all the good done in the season up to this point - but we are in a rut at the moment, and hopefully it's a short lived one.

I wholeheartedly agree with this. We come out flat and looking not ready to play at the beginning of a lot of games.

I didn't see any clear h-c offense other than Kam getting a high screen and wanting to play fast in general. Early in the year the ball was zipping with a lot of drive and kick. The other thing I notived is guy's looked tight. I get that our defense creates offense, but we can't be entirely dependent on forcing turns for buckets. Especially because our bench isn't producing at the level we expected. We simply have to do a better job creating good shots in our h-court offense. Schematically I think Shaka can do a few things off of the immediate Kam double to get wide open looks. Through about 27 game mins out offensive numbers were beyond atrocious. It's on Shaka and our entire squad to run better h-c offense.

They did. They stopped screening for Kam so heavily.

Stevie was very upset and really crying, so we were watching that. Bur then Freemantle wouldn't leave the floor. He appeared to be into with a walkon. ZF needed to restrained by an asst coach.
After he runs to the locker room, a X asst coach is getting into with MU asst coach.
But what was strange, tje whole time ZF and then the X asst coach were yelling.....MU players were in a huddle, and seemed focused.

Tough game. Any team down 19 in second half should not be in discussion to send to OT....but we were there. Amazing really to get this down to two . Oh had we played a little better earlier.... But never, never quit.
