Pizanos for Blue and Gold Pre game.
Pouring one (hundred) out for Muggsy on lower Wacker. I gate checked him and the airlines lost track of him.
Flo and Santos if you like tavern style pizza. My favorite in the city. Try the Italian Beef pizza, well done.
And Reggie's is great, agree there. Saucy wings though so I get them naked with the sauce on the side

I'm wavering between this sounding disgusting or delicious.

It's delicious

I assume it's normal pizza with some Italian beef and peppers? Would rather just have sausage instead of the beef, but I'd give it a shot.

Man, Mr Blotto on top of all of it? I'm always team Reggie's pregame, but what a combo.
If you're looking to make a nice night of it, I also like having dinner at Bistro Monadnock then taking bus down to the stadium. Super easy. If my wife is in office, this is an option we utilize.

Yeah I think so. I honestly can't remember the exact toppings but I remember it being really good. A buddy of mine gets it from a place on the southside (Milano's) and it's been a few years since I've had it. It's deep dish also

Flo and Santos is the truth

Beef and giardiniera and cheese. Somehow it's not soggy.
You're not wrong though. Their 'Grace's favorite' (sausage and peppers) is a banger too.
I order their pizzas 'well done' so that the cheese is a little burned and the crust is crackery-er.

I don't know how you guys are planning a pregame for a 6pm game but I love it.
I'm on paternity leave so if anyone wants to post up at Reggie's from noon on with me and the baby we're in. She hits the bottle hard and probably won't be able to walk out of there or make a coherent sentence.

You've trained her well.
Still some good tix left for those on the fence. Let's pack the place!
Me and the fam will be there, but prolly not pregaming as they want to hit dinner in Chinatown before.
Who's got a rec they want to share?

The Evergreen is a good spot

Tapas Valencia if you're not feeling Chinese... or hit up a spot in Pilsen or Bridgeport like pleasant house pub duck inn. If you want Chinatown specific I'm partial to Yao Yao

Hai Sous in Pilsen is also a good one.

Their happy hour is a steal! Head to Alulu for some great brews and underrated fusion food afterward.
After reading this I'm going to avoid the Wintrust Arena bathrooms.

Damn that sounds amazing.
Think we will try Flo and Santos.
Sounds great.
I love Mr Blotto. Saw them at Wrigley before the D and Co shows.
Blotto rocks. I've seen them at Wrigley before the Dead n Co shows also. Great time
Heading in with the family.
Thinking Avec for pregame meal, I've heard good things.
Anyone doing the pregame reception?
Haven't been to the Chicago one before, pretty much the same as all the others right?

I went a couple years ago and Travis and Jerel were doing a Q and A session on a small stage in a large ballroom. Looked like a regular student recruiting event. Fairly large. Well attended. Is this one in a bar?

It's tonight.
Quick dinner at Fatpour Tap before the game.
Hopefully Wintrust is filled with Warrior fans tonight...

That place gets packed before games. Have a backup plan.
Unrelated: Someone go try Heffer BBQ and lmk if it's good or not. I love Duneyrr beneath it (wine/beer hybrids, really good) and Heffer is on the 2nd floor.

Is that the old Motor Row?

Exactly. Duneyrr took over the space during the pandemic, iirc.
Went to Flos last night.....it did not disappoint. Relatively easy getting in and out of Wintrust from Milwaukee. Been there several times and the parking at Marriott could be handled so much better. Not to mention the exists at Wintrust. It shouldn't be more difficult to get 5K out of a building than 17K at Fiserv.
