That was great, the marketing team must have outsourced it.
Excellent Filming. Captures the intensity of the team and the love of their Mothers . Loved JTY Addressing the team after the game. There was even a cameo of Vander.
This video should be disseminated to all recruits Moms.

Misread this at first. Ugh, been a long week already.
As I read through this thread, the advertisement at the top for me is one about chatting with "mature women".
Amazing.

Presumably - before you logged in to post? Shouldn't see ads if logged in.
And hey, google's algorithm knows what you're interested in, lol
Wow, it's really cool that Ben's mom made it all the way from New Zealand!
Lisa Joplin seems to be a very talented woman. Retired MPD, started and owns a hair salon, and has amazing singing talents.

I wonder if this is an unappreciated positive of the NIL era. Programs (indirectly) have resources that make coordinating this a lot easier and above board.

benefits still cannot be provided to parents except for postseason events and in cases of emergencies so in all likelihood she flew over on her own dime.

Yes but cash my friend is fungible. The players have plenty of money to bring their moms in

I think not

As I understand, it's still more difficult with international players (no work visa?). But, someone also mentioned the game @ Atlantis allowed Ben to get his paycheck - so he could then have his $$ too.

I talked to Stephanie after the WIAA Basketball Championships in Madison last March. She raved about her family's time at MU and noted how Sam got married recently just a block off of campus (St James). As much as I would have enjoyed a Wojo dig or two from her she went complete high road.

You're telling me the Jopwagon is actually the Copwagon?

that is true (which was a major benefit when Purdue played a game in Canada last year). However, the Bahamas does have strict rules for non-citizens "working" there. Oscar Tshiebwe did it and that's when word got out a work permit was required. My guess is Ben received some NIL when he was back home in NZ

It's really a bummer how his career ended at MU. He would be cheered every time Boston was in town. He might still be, but a bit of an afterthought from MU fans.
I still believe he more or less was caught up in his brother not having a great experience.

Doesn't surprise me at all. They loved MU and coming down to MKE for the games.
Sam's one of the big MU regrets. He'd be welcomed back every time Boston was in town, he'd be there during the summer. Still feel like if he knew they were going to end up in separate places he would have just stayed. But the way Wojo reacted torched that bridge completely.

I'm not sure that was it
Yup, Sam was the turd in the punch bowl.
