The young man was absolutely terrific today. His blocks in particular!! I got off the ground a little higher celebrating both of them. Kudos to Jop and his resiliency.

Jopfuss?? Nah, he suxs. Ask Willard
I've heard experts here say Marquette would be better without him, though.
Jop needs to play within himself and know what he can and can't do.
He is tall but plays small. When he takes the ball strong to the hoop and attacks vertically, good things happen. When he hesitates and gets small, not good.
When he catches and shoots from 3, good things usually happen. When he attempts a 3 off the dribble, not good.
He played very good defensively once again.

Well said Papi. Jop is very strong. When he is under control and uses his power and footwork in the paint, he can inflict damage. It's about knowing his strengths and playing with consistency. He was outstanding today.
He can be my most frustrating player, but when he's good, he's a difference maker. I thought he played great today.
1000 point scorer now.
We literally had a Scooper yesterday posting that he would be replaced in the starting line up by the end of the year.
We had a scooper saying Ben stinks, one saying MU'S defense stinks, and one still advocating to change the starting line up and that MU commits too many turnovers.
I love scoop.

Ya....I have similar frustrations. Mainly because we have seen him have games like this on the offensive end. He and Benny change this team when they are scoring the ball. I was extremely pleased both of them played a complete game today.

Arguably, it's the internet's finest humor site
Jop is....
Second leading scorer
Leading rebounder
Leading shot blocker
A 1000 point scorer
Scoop scapegoat.
Yup, he has games where he throws up bricks. Alas.
I think Jop has increased his quicks. I also loved that o-reb and finish. He's a strong young man and used his power well today around the rim.

Maybe Shaka secretly uses Scoop as bulletin board material before each game. I'm just gonna assume he does and hope those takes never stop.
