Tawny Beckham, prep school kid
If's he's a prep school kid right now, that means he's in next year's freshman class, right? I can't imagine we're recruiting
another kid for next year. We're already one over the limit. I'm skeptical.
maybe means nothing, but I don't think Nick Williams has signed a letter of intent yet.

According to Rosiak, Williams (and all of the 2008 class) have signed.

The Marquette Golden Eagles announced Thursday the signing of their four-player recruiting class for 2008-'09, a group that is expected to fill major frontcourt and backcourt needs.
Guards Nick Williams and Tyshawn Taylor, wing Joseph Fulce and center Chris Otule will give MU its biggest and most versatile freshman class in a number of seasons.http://www.jsonline.com/story/index.aspx?id=686887
Great -- a guard with a questionable jumpshot. We couldn't possibly be looking for somebody for next year.

I heard from a friend today that there is a 6'11" 240 guy playing in Eau Claire, that Marquette has been looking at. I think he's only a sophomore. Anyone have any insight?

Yeah, he is Evan Anderson. He is one of the top big men (soph's in HS) in the country.
Maybe we should offer this kid a scholarship now:

Sign him up!!!
Wait this kid ran a 4:52 and he's 11¿?! Geez it took me 4 years in high school to get under 4:50. Hopefully, he doesn't burn himself out too early, otherwise this kid could be amazing.
just makes me feel like a pile of crap watching that, wow, quite amazing.
