Joplin. But shout out to Gold.

Also, its nice to have a player where their bad game is 10 points 7 assists, while shooting 63% from the floor (Kam).

Also, Chase is insane. Another great all around game. 5 steals is crazy. Had he made that one dunk where the ball just slipped out of his hand. Might have given him the nod for the complete game.

This must have been a rough game for Willie.

Definitely Jop. Shout to Ben as well. Great defense, good shooting, couple of nice drives and really just a very smart game for him minus one ill-advised crossover dribble at midcourt.

But really it's Kam every game. If he's on the bench, we're cooked. At least until Sean gets back.

Good teams find ways to win.  We gained nothing from scheduling this game, were totally out of sorts late in the 1st, but came through and took care of business.  Great adjustments by Shaka.

Could we get Muggsy to start a SOTG thread?

3 should be enough.

(Yes, I did notice they both were started almost at the same time) :)

What? We gained nothing from a neutral court game against a very long and athletic SEC team that will likely end up being a Q2 win? Q1 if we're lucky?

Gotta be Joplin's career night, though Gold and Chase were really good. Overall, just glad to get out with a win and seemingly no serious injuries.

Chase had some excellent moments and was impactful as always, but he made some really dumb decisions and bad plays as well. I thought it was his worst game. But still not bad.

He turned up the defensive pressure nicely in the second half. I thought him and Stevie forcing the issue with the UGA guards really helped turn the tide. All in all, the first half was pretty forgettable other than the big men shooting though.

Joplin...but he's led the team in (or tied for most) turnovers in 5 of the first 6 games. As a senior, he needs to clean that up and take better care of the ball.

At this point we know Jops great games will always be like 75% complete at best.

If he's gonna give us 6 3s in a game, I'll take the slop any time. Especially since he's also an asset defensively these days

SOTG - Jop

HM - Ben

On a day that our usually outstanding backcourt struggled some nice to see the big boys come through. When they shoot 10-20 from 3 were pretty hard to beat!
