Title: Best CBB Websites
Post by: sailwi on November 21, 2024, 12:34:40 PM
I know this has been asked before but I think it's been a couple of years so I will ask again.
What websites do you suggest for good college BB coverage other than the big/obvious ones (ESPN, CBS, Athletic Etc.)
I just ran across a new one to me Hoops HQ but its a 5 a month subscription, maybe its worth it but maybe not. Looks like Seth Davis is the person behind it.
I did subscribe to thee Field of 68 daily e mail for 10 a year and think its well worth it.  Good summary of scores, games etc all in one place.

I like Eamonn Brennan, he used to write bubble watch for ESPN and Athletic, now on a substack. most recent post is about Marquette: https://www.eamonnbrennan.com/p/the-big-east-finally-had-a-good-night

I subscribe to the Burner Discord, an operation by Trilly Donovan and 3 Man Weave. Lots of good chatter and a direct line to trilly info on recruiting, and the place is populated entirely with cbb sickos who watch as many games as possible and talk about em.

Love 3 man weave pod for national basketball. cbs eye on college basketball, field of 68 DTF are both good national cbb talk too. I like road to the garden pod and big east barroom for conference pods. Scrambled eggs and marquette barroom are the only 2 marquette pods active that I can find. K1 and stewie is less about basketball but still good to get to know the players better.

Paint touches and cracked sidewalks of course.

evan miya, haslametrics, kenpom, bart torvik, and warren nolan for stats, rankings, real time net, analytics, etc. not much writing though.

I'm trying to create a Marquette basketball news feed on the muoverload.com homepage.

It's set to compile Paint Touches, Anonymous Eagle, Cracked Sidewalks, Ben Steele, and GoMarquette.com posts.

If anyone has any other suggestions to add let me know.

I like it.  It scrolls pretty fast.

You are aware we tried a similar thing here for several years.  Honestly.... Technology is why we stopped.

Though, I could (should?) have tried harder.

I believe so. I'll give it a try.

I know for sure I can slow that down.
