Interesting comments from the other side. There are some really good posts regarding the game.

I saw the one dweeb saying he was unimpressed with the student section and the inflatables. Some sour grapes on the other side.

Meh.  Classy.  Relatively objective.  Like most, more focused on their team's shortcomings in a vacuum and missing out on the big picture.   Purdue is a good team that will have a good season.  Second weekend is probably their ceiling.  And that is nothing to apologize for.

They (and I'm sure Painter) respected the fact that we didn't storm the court on them. I'm pretty sure every team that has beaten them in the last 2 years has done so.

while texting with a Purdue grad coworker and Purdue grad cousin during the games last night their comments ranged from "the defense is ridiculous" "they've completely forced us out of our offensive game play" and "Kam Jones is now my favorite player in college basketball." They also raved about the Championship Blue unis.

Purdue is not the 6th best team in the nation and they won't win the Big Ten, but it's obvious MU is far better than the 15th best team in the nation.

Purdue might win the Big Ten.  No great teams.  Every team ranked between 21-82 in Kenpom.

With unbalanced schedules, could easily see 3+ teams share the title.

I'd put IU as the favorite. A friend's brother coached against Illinois earlier this season and said he thinks Illinois has Final Four-caliber talent once they gel as a team (something I love about MU is that the continuity means no adjustment period).

I keep forgetting about that ridiculous unbalanced schedule though. That can help Michigan State as they only play IU and Purdue once, both at home.

Win on December 7 and I'm pretty sure we are Big 10 champs.

There aren't a lot of teams in that league who can disrupt them like MU did last night. Purdue will be just fine.

Which was the outlier?  Arizona or UTRGV?

This reads like something Chicos would write.

Marquette is in first place in the B10 with a 2-0 record.

Is it really that unbalanced? Home and away, sure. But everyone plays the other 17 teams once and there are three teams each plays twice. Seems like the best they can do with 18 teams.

It's not imbalanced relative to the ideal 18 team conference schedule, its imbalanced relative to a normal sized conference's schedule.

True, but it's essentially the BE before 2014. Not something we've never seen before.
