I believe that Stony Brook is considered one of the flagships of the SUNY system. A high level research school that draws from a pretty affluent area in general.

I know this sounds impossible to believe, but Stony Brook makes Mequon look like East Troy.

Isn't Mequon turning democratic faster than any city in WI?  Going to have to move to the sticks.

This is true. Very good school both on the academics and research sides.
