Awesome behind the scenes look at Hoops with Chase Ross. Excited to see how he expands his role this year.
I hope Goon leader has a massive year.
Would be huge for the team
A few thoughts
1) did they seriously drive to the Al? lmao why?
2) the tournament thing in the background could say 37 NCAA tournament invites if we wanted to be on par with Cuse MSU and ND and put ourselves above UConn.
3) Chase is awesome really hope he gets to showcase himself in a big way this year.

Yeah, nice wheels for a scholarship guy.....lots better than a loan guy like me back in the day.....
And NIL guy...
Chase could be one of those athletes that end up in the Motion Picture /TV industry. He has the voice, looks, poise and personality necessary.

My first thought too, but then realized it was probably a way to showcase an NIL deal and meet his quid pro quo for the deal to be permissible. For example, when the entire Utah football team got truck the contract stated to meet the requirement the needed to be seen driving them around campus.
Good to see MU keeping up too. Creighton players get Rovers, Kentucky guys get Porsches.

Dennis Haysbert with a less deep voice.
Chase has put himself on the NBA map this year. 3-and-D wings are invaluable in the NBA.
His shot isn't quite there yet, but it's doesn't have to be rebuilt either. I believe he will be back and I have no doubt that he will be drafted in '26.

Oh Chase will be in the NBA. O doubt. Def needs to finish college though.
Call me insane, as probably the most proficient in the moment Jop tilter there is. But with his improvement on D and better physique. I honestly think he may wind up there too.
Might be short lived once he starts dribbling, but lived none the less.

Jamal Cain and Juan Anderson made the NBA. Two players that transferred down a level (Juan ended up coming back). Anything is possible.

I will say in this comp.
Jamal was a pretty clear NBA possibility. And mostly transferred down to be able to showcase and after a coaching change.
But yeah, Juan. Definitely proves its all possible.
I think it's pretty early to declare if chase does or doesn't need another year in college. Certainly has the athleticism to have a shot at the next level.
That has been the popular opinion from day 1.

As Tower said, we knew he had the athleticism. This is the year, though, that his entire game has come together (may have happened earlier if he wasn't injured last year).
MBA scouts don't like 3-year guys as they are all about potential. But 3 & 4 year guys with an elite NBA skill (defense in Chase's case) definitely have a place in the NBA.
My key point may be not well communicated....i don't know that chase needs another year of college.

Oh I got what you meant
I do think he def needs another year tho.
But that's also with 34 more games to this year to change it.
Chase will be here next year. He will be paid handsomely and will get his chance to start and run the point at times.

MBA scouts incredibly high on Stevie.
Well played.
