Quite interesting that MU is partnering with Third Space on a beer when a pair of MU Alums (who partnered with a student Co-Op the last two years) just announced a Ring Out Ahoya lager

Third Space has broader distribution, and if MU leverages that then the move makes a lot of sense.
Marquette Golden Ale?
They'd have had me at Marquette Warrior Wheat!
In addition to finding the Golden Ale at Marquette home games, enjoy one on draft or purchase a six-pack at the Third Space Brewing tap room on St. Paul Avenue in Milwaukee and the Third Space Innovation Brewhouse in Menomonee Falls or pick some up at select retailers throughout Southern Wisconsin.
Am guessing they must have paid a pretty penny for those rights! But looks and sounds awesome love it!
The Third Space brews I've had have been pretty solid stuff. I'm sure it's better than the '77 Golden Ale and can't be worse than "The Beer Can." An interesting note is that this beer will not be used for NIL purposes like many other institutionally authorized beers but rather support the department. https://www.si.com/fannation/name-image-likeness/nil-news/marquette-basketballs-new-non-nil-beer-partnership-is-important
While this message from university leadership is correct, what isn't being said about this partnership is more important. Co-branded brews are nothing new; however, Marquette bucks the current trend of partnerships between NIL collectives and breweries, instead opting to bring the collaboration exclusively between Third Space and the athletic department.
