No, Hurley is a better coach
Both had an older brother who was a better player. Hurley's Dad is a long time teacher / coach whereas Al's Dad actually did something to help society.
Al was funnier.
Al had hair.

Al had a lucky suit.
You suggesting Al went commando?
Hurley definitely knows how to work the refs and the crowd. He's got that east coast swagger like Al, too.
But there will never be another Al McGuire. He came along at the perfect time.
Hurley is a great coach and he's great for our league.
Coaching prowess Hurley is there. Entertaining personalities, Al wins hands down. But Hurley, like Al, can make half time adjustments that just drive the opponents crazy. He is a great coach and is great for the East and UConn.
Congrats!
They are the same in that fans of other teams hate them.
