This is UConn's tourney to lose. Helluva team. Mad respect. I think there are 3 teams that have even a chance to beat them.
1. Purdue. Edey vs Clingan. If the supporting players from Purdue get hot, they have a chance. More likely is that UConn's supporting cast is too athletic.
2. Creighton. They have done it before. It could happen again. Kalkbrenner neutralizes Clingan and Scheierman et al make it rain. Plus, little intimidation factor.
3. MU. A healthy MU on a neutral floor. MU played them relatively close without Tyler. MU has seen it all before. With TKo on a neutral floor? Kam goes for 30+ and MU refuses to lose a 4th time.
Again, mad respect for UConn. The best chances I see to beat them is the 1985 Villanova-Georgetown scenario. Or the Kong vs Godzilla match up in the paint.
Nice post, except that your placing Marquette as the third team that could beat UCONN rather than the first one is unacceptable and inexcusable.

COLE is strong in that a-hole, tower.
If you throw Marquette in got to the throw in Houston. Neither has a huge guy to cancel out clingan. Great guard play
No chance for Creighton. Hurley would have his squad chomping at the bit for that matchup. They aren't playing in the CHI Center.
Houston would definitely have a chance. Illinois will have the best player, which will always give you a chance. Tennessee same story, and can defend.
But for all the "no great teams," well, UCONN looks pretty great to me.

If MU meets Houston soon I like our chances for that reason
Can we actually show up vs NC State first.
