Kam Jones has skyrocketed up to 29th (1st Round) in the Ringers mock.
Enjoy this run while we are in the moment.
I must be blind. I can't find Bronny on that mock draft. ;)
I'd be considerably more concerned about next year. Still a lot of returning experience but losing Kam and having potentially not ready for prime time Sean would be hard to overcome. Think we'd fall back to Shakas first year level

Perhaps we should enjoy this team and see how this all plays out. Shaka and MU will be fine.

What better recruiting pitch to players than..."we had 3 Juniors/Seniors drafted in the Top 33 picks of the NBA draft."
We'll be fine however it plays out.
Recruiting/developing good players means losing those players to the pros.
There are worse problems to have.

100% I'm not saying we'd perennially fall backwards, just that there'd be a small bit more of a rebuild than I'd hoped for.

Is there a game today? New podcast? Open practice? I promise on this basketballess Wednesday I'm able to spare a brief thought on the future potential without sacrificing the excitement around Friday.

Dont worry about Bronny...he has a seat waiting for him in LA. But its a "seat" :)
I don't know who the guy is that conducted the mock draft, but it makes the whole thing seem dubious when his best comp for Oso is Al Horford - a big-time defender and rebounder who is a very solid 3-point shooter.

I'd trade places with Bronny every day of the week, and twice on Sundays.
He gowne. Great job by Wojo identifying him and Shaka keeping him
Hope Kam stays. But his best position is shooting guard, not point guard. Point takes away his game. He is better off the ball.
Whether it's this year or next, Kam will have an NBA career. That being said, I think it'll be the shortest of any of the Big Three.

Don't love the comp either, but it's worth noting that Horford only developed into a shooter late in his NBA career.
He attempted only four 3s in college, and missed them all. He attempted 18 in his first six NBA seasons, making six of them.
It wasn't until his ninth NBA season when he became a prolific three-point shooter, going from 36 attempts in year 8 to 256 in year 9.

Is Oso quick enough for a Trayce Jackson-Davis comp? Probably a better passer but both strictly in the paint players.

Oso, in my opinion, is closer to Joakim Noah on that Florda team than he is to Horford.

It makes sense that Kam moves up in these mocks after excelling during TK's absence and then scoring big in the NCAAs.
Not sure if this was posted last week before tourney. Way too many threads. But instead of risking double post Ill throw it here
Just found this interview. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Cly9vRrNfLw
Great stuff. And more reason to hope finishing it out with Stevie keeps Kam 1 more year.
3 upperclassmen in KOC's top 33.
That's the recipe for a game in April.

Great link, thanks....right about all the threads....but this was a good link. Wouldn't blame you if this seeded a new one.

I've always known about Kam and Stevie being in constant contact during Wojo and into Shaka and decided to stay together
Didn't know about them coming in contact initially through Kam reposting a Stevie commitment leak.
Funny in hindsight. Def a bummer for Stevie in moment
