1. Too three happy in the first half.
2. Mo turned bad Shaka put in his jumbo package against small and quick.
3. More quality halftime adjustments. 51-26 (?)
4. Oso not good. Needed some selfish play.
5. MU fans too spread out.
6. Stevie turned it. That fluke was a karmic reward.
7. Welcome back, TKo.
8. Bad half out of the way. Giddyup.
Hoping Oso is OK. That was an uncharacteristic performance. Still brought it defensively, though.
Tremendous reference Tower!!! I miss D-D-L.
Shall we start a Gofundme for the many "experts" who had MU losing in the 1st round to help their recovery?
What can we do about #5?
Purdue fans infuriating as always.

Nah. Kolek 'em.
9. Shaka was playing the long game going deep into the bench in the first half. Unfortunately it didn't work out but he adapted quickly
Get Oso out of his funk and this team is going far.
The main concern with this team is we have a tendency to go stretches where we don't score. He reared is ugly head again in that first half.
The biggest positive is TK looks healthy.
Stevie heart and soul of this team.
Jop was a beast on the boards.
Kam is Kam.
Survive and advance. We are going to need a good Oso game against either of Florida/Colorado.
MU had (absolutely had) to stick with the five of Kolek/Kam/Oso/Joplin/Stevie. They all nearly played the entire second half (very short cameos by Gold/Ross).

I'll say this with regards to college sports, it can change quick and violently. Trust the team. Trust the staff. Trust the process. Five minute mess today. 35 minutes of winning basketball
Rarely will you have all your major players having their A game on the same day. Wasn't always a thing of beauty but we got it done and had the walk ons in at the end.
As has been the case in so many games, when things were not looking good Kam took over and got the momentum back in our favor.

Extra long media timeouts.

Fast game, too. Under 12 happened at like 9:50 and under 8 at about 6 minute mark.

This was a game that Kam could've gone for 40. Although they packed it in for most of the game, his craftiness at the rim seemed to let him get almost anything he wanted inside--they didn't know how to stop his secondary effort after they stalled his initial drive.
#5 seems to be the unfortunate result of fans needing to buy on the secondary market now rather than getting tickets from MU and having a few Marquette sections. People get what they can in their price range and are all over the place.
TyKo playing 38 minutes was encouraging. Everything came together well in the second half.
Glad to see others having those observations about Oso. He just wasn't "right," on offense, never seemed comfortable.
But like everyone else, he brought defensive energy in the second half. Stevie was insanely good. Kam was a magician on O. And it was obviously wonderful to see TK do TK things ... though we thought he passed up a few layup attempts.
Anyhoo, MU was bound to win. We're now 13-0 with me in attendance since last losing in 2018 at Butler. So y'all are welcome!

Guess you've gotta go to every remaining game. And if they happen to lose it's on you.
While offensive contributing Oso is good.
Having an A++ defensive Oso will be critical to advancing.
One down.

Yep. Can't go 6-0 without winning the first!
That play when Kolek drove the baseline and his pass was deflected while he was in the air and he found an open man was very Larry Bird-like. The court vision Tyler has is off the charts good.
Great to have our All American back.

There is never a bad time to reference Daniel Day Lewis
Two years ago the first game thread probably was 12 deep at this point. The progress made is unbelievable. One at a time!!!

My #15 jersey still undefeated and wearing again on Sunday, LFG!!!
Watching Gold getting switched onto the 5'11 Edelin looked funny from 4 rows from the ceiling. How did it look on TV?
Was that kid seriously 5'11? He looked like 5'7". So that's what I would look like standing on the court with these guys?
Listed at 5'10.
