Stevie was awesome.
But welcome back Kolek. So good to have an All American point guard.
Stevie deserves it. Excellent effort today.
It's 100% Stevie.
Stevie.
No Stevie - no win.
We don't win this game without Stevie's energy to start the second half. His chase down steal and resulting and-one was the play of the game.
Stevie
Stevie f'ing Mitchell
Stevie is a dude
Stevie seems like the obvious choice and it was amazing to have TK back but Kam was a straight bucket getter
Stevie.
Mitchell
16 points, 3 blocks, 3 steals, 3 assists and 4 rebounds
But Kam was unreal also
Stevie. The heart and soul of the team
Stevie. Anyone know Stan Van Gundy's scoop username?
Stevie. He turned the game around.
Kam and Kolek also were really good. Very good second half for Jop.
Stevie
Stevie "The Culture" Mitchell
I'm not changing my Stevie vote but Jop with 11 rebounds, 13 points, 3 assists and only 1 foul
Willie
Stevie. His energy brought us back. That three at the end was so fitting for his day!
Kam was awesome.
Even more awesome was having Tyler back and playing nearly the entire game.
That first half is a great wake up call and warning. If they play like they did in the second half, I love our chances.
Stewie. Love that kid!
Kolek for being the only MU player to show up in the first half.
Kam for being a walking bucket, making 28 points look easy.
Jop for being a menace on the glass with 9 rebounds after halftime.
Stevie for doing a little bit of everything (16-4-3-3-3), and all the dirty work.
I'll take Stevie.
Stevie changed the entirel gane. And then Kam decided to get buckets. We still do need Oso.
Give me Stevie effing Mitchell
Stevie was the game changer.
Unsung hero was Joplin on the boards.
SFM. And, I really liked Jops 2H energy, he and Stevie did all the little things AND made shots

Sure is. Would be great if Chase could evolve into a dude as well, as we'd been told he was in the off-season.
All american point guard comes back from a deep tissue injury and drops 18/11/6...
Stevie has that juice though.
Kam

Wonder how much his injuries have effected his growth
Stevie, which says something considering how good Kam and TKO were.
Jop with an outstanding 2nd half.
Oso gets a mulligan. Need him going forward badly.
Stevie over Kam for his all-around game today.
Some people don't know basketball. No question, Kolek, 18 points and 11 assists
Stevie but Kam was awesome after the first 5 mins when they desperately needed to score.

Kolek kept us in it in the first half and had a great all around game but we needed the egb's that Stevie provided in that second half that got us back in that game.

I think it's affected his confidence at the rim - he's beating his man off the dribble but then looks to pass.

He the rebounder we have to have. Great game from him He and Stevie were our needed rebounders today
28 from Kam, double-doubles from Jop and TyKo! Wow!
STOG, though, is Stevie. he is the EGB poster child.

Hard to say. Shoulder shouldn't have affected his ability to finish go to the basket. His athleticism just doesn't seem to translate to being a good finisher. And today his defense wasn't very good either.

Had a couple of nice defensive plays but overall, he was a liability. The whole team struggles to finish at times. Well, except in the second half today
Stevie is just what a team needs for a deep tourney run.
Kam's scoring was so proficient and necessary I can't overlook him. He gets my vote.
I'd like Jop for his 11 boards over Stevie.
But goddamn did I love what I saw from most everybody.
I don't like it when Oso doesn't play well, it hurts my soul worse than when other players have off games.
But that's a "me" problem, I have immense trust in Oso going forward.
Hard to pick with so many exemplary contributions. So I'm going with Kam—he was overwhelming for wku.
The amount of wide open shots that Tyler created was absurd. On top of being the only one keeping us in the game in the first half, it really just has to be Tyler.
Stevie made important plays. Kam had scoring explosions that helped us separate.
Tyler was an engine every single possession in a pretty remarkable way. He's the reason we were so frustrated by missing wide open shots all game -- he created SO MANY wide open shots.
Stevie for being a game changer.
Tyler Kolek
Stevie was great in the 2nd half. So was Kam. Jop was good too.
Kolek had 18, 6, 11 and 2 steals. And without him the game would have been out of reach at halftime. He's the SOTG.
Steven F. Mitchell

When your shoulder pops out of place, it's expected to be cautious taking that same arm overhead and trying to dunk on someone.
Stevie and Kam........Kam and Stevie
Welcome back Tyler.......Jop was big in the 2nd half
Stevie for sure. What a spark!
Stevie Mitchell = Warrior
Kam's 2nd half scoring outburst put the game out of reach.
Stevie was terrific. His energy fed the 2nd half start and his scoring gave us a lift.
Jop's rebounding was huge.
But I'm going with Kolek. To miss 3 weeks, and come back with 18/11 in 38 minutes is super impressive. He picked up where he left off vs Providence. He's my pick, but wouldn't complain about Kam or Stevie.
Stevie for this game and for the cumulative of all the other great games he had but got nudged aside for kam, oso or tk
I'd vote for Kam, with a special nod to Jop for his 2nd half play.
But is this the game that people finally appreciate Stevie? I'll take it.
Jolp was a beast, Kam was a bucket, Kolek was his All-American self.
But Steeeee-Veeeee was SOTG.
Don't know if anyone mentioned how Stevie shut town WKU's leading scorer.
Stevie was the spark ... filled my soul with his energy when we needed it. A couple other awesome performances but easy SM for me
Kolek.
Only one to play the full game. M
Kolek all day long.
Stevie was the guy who lit the fire.
Stevie

Hes a defensive dude already. Offense has been a huge disappointment this season. Lost all touch around the rim and he definitely had it before. Hope we see it next season
Stevie. Hes here, hes there, hes every f#cking where
Stevie
Kolek
S. Mitchell
My gut reaction was Kolek, but any of the guys in the backcourt would be appropriate answers.
Elon Musk because he thinks he is amazing!!
I lean Kolek, but no objection at all to the wonder that is Stevie. Or Kameron, for that matter.
Jolp

Stoopid lyin' Shaka!
Stevie is a great choice. Great game all around and that three was ridiculous ! And one!
Stevie played great. But almost all the analysts I heard such as Barkley, Raftery, etc. gave the credit to Kolek for taking over in the 2nd half. This team will go as far as Koleks floor play takes them. Believe MU is 3-3 without Kolek and about 23-6 with Kolek
This is probably the toughest all year.
Stevie made some great plays.
Kam got buckets.
Tyler with a double-double.
I'm gonna' need another hour to decide which two of them should be snubbed.
Stevie
Kolek had a great 1st half, and we were still losing.
Stevie turned the game around.

Do what you always do. Allow AI to throw a dart blindfolded.
On rewatch, there are legit cases for Stevie, Kam and Tyler. Can't go wrong with any of them.

I agreed. I re-watched via the condensed game this AM, and it didn't make the choice easier.
Gemini says "no definitive" stud, but probably Kolek. So there you have it.

What, and crash the site again!!!
Very fortunate to be in the position where we had four guys who all played worthy of SOTG despite the clunker of a first half.
Kolek - 18, 11, 6 on good shooting in his return.
Stevie's stat line speaks for itself.
Kam dropping 28 and barely getting much love in the thread
Jop 13 and 11 and some big plays in the second half as well.
My vote is also Stevie. Now let's destroy Colorado.
