Title: No love from espn
Post by: Thomas' Danish Delight on February 24, 2008, 12:05:12 AM
Okay, so we beat up on the worst team in the Big East...but COME ON!

Nothing about our juniors dominating...nothing about McNeals MONSTER game...

I guess we got lost in the whole Tenn/Memphis and super monster game by Michael Beasley...

BUT COME ON!!!!

yeah, that game was full of good plays...the mcneal pass over the back (with the chris berman woop added in), blackledge's dunk...but nothing, instead we get a team winning a game for the 53rd time in a row, that's not a top play, but still deserves time on its own. we apparently need to win by 40 next time....

I was watching ESPN after I got back from the game and I didn't see any highlights of Marquette at all.  And i watch for hours - I was disappointed.  Even on the Fox Sports website, there wasn't a word that I saw about Marquette.  It does seem that we do not get a lot of coverage to me - but maybe I missed it

I saw some good highlights on sportscenter about 2:00am... after I got home from the Bucks game, where I saw Rick Smith (the jumper) and his wife.  They showed McNeal's pass, and a few other shots.
