Just wondering who is heading to NYC for the tourney next week. We've got a group of 6, one is a UConn alum, but he'll root for MU as long as we're not playing each other.
We'll be there, four from Chicago and two from out there.
Absolutely #blessed with this bracket placement for its implication on ticket prices. Thursday night's already looking reasonable.
I bought my Thursday evening bracket ticket awhile ago and was just dreading having to buy the afternoon bracket.
This will be my first BET since the Seton Hall travesty.

C'mon, will the other 5 route for UCONN as long as we don't play each other?
We will be there again!!! Last year was our first time at the BET !!! MU won the Championship, so we need to keep the Juju going!!! We get there Wed!!! Let's go Warriors, we got this !!! 8-)

Put the two biggest guys on either side of him to enforce the deal. If he doesn't cheer loud enough, encourage him with an elbow to his ribs.
Won't be in NYC, but we will be in DC for spring break and I'm trying to figure out a game watching spot for Thursday night and beyond.
Getting into town later tonight. Will be catching up to Warriors4ever. If you see me in my MU Alumni baseball cap be sure to say hello. Or ignore me.

Well, you'll know me by my powder blue MU cap. Either on my head or hanging from my purse.

Valor Blue now
On the Metro North train headed to the Marquette Circles event tonight.
A bunch of Providence fans on the train, keeping quiet so far.
I'll be there with some MU buddies.
I'd Mustang Harry's still the pregame spot?

One of two. The other is John Sullivan's
I debated going to the Circles event, but bought a theater ticket that starts at 7 so I'd have to miss the reception afterwards, and I'll need some food and drink.

Ha, I've been there non Marquette related. Good to know since MH is always way too packed.

For $20, you get app access at both spots for as many games as we play
The last two years I signed us up for the pregame stuff, and MH was so packed we took a walk through and left. Seemed the appetizers were difficult to get, and nowhere to really park yourself. We found a couple other places, after the championship last year we ended up down the street from MH, and had a nice time chatting with some X and Creighton fans. This year we'll go as walkins, if we go at all.
I just passed the Villanova Cheering Team on 6th Avenue.

I think the team might be at the Ritz Carlton on 28th, I am staying down the street and may have seen them yesterday - I saw guys getting off a bus with shirts that seemed to say Nova.

Were we doubting they'd show up or something?
Maybe those were North Virginia shirts.

Sure. I could see them refusing to go to NYC in solidarity with Kolek. Shaka's first mutiny.

For the "unintimated":
NOVA is a common abbreviation for Northern Virginia.

Chevy? Probably Dayton fans
I land at LaGuardia at 4:30pm tomorrow and am going to the lower east side.
I'm assuming an Uber is gonna be a b!itch and will take a hour plus. Maybe 2. Anyone know if I could Uber to a train and take the train in? Normally I fly into Newark so I can train to Penn Station. Not a fan of LaGuardia

There is a free bus called LaGuardia Link that takes you directly to the nearest Subway station about 8-10 minutes away from LGA. There are a zillion signs for it near the luggage pickup.
Jerel McNeal could not be a nicer person. I meet him tonight. He'll be in NYC the rest of the week.
Re:LaGuardia - I remember several years ago taking the bus from the airport to the Jackson Heights MTA stop.

This is the way.
I got to NYC last night and realized this morning all I packed was MU sweatshirts. Early summer in NYC didn't resonate with me while packing.
If there's some MU hosted spot where they are selling merch, please do tell.

Amazon some stuff to your hotel room if you get desperate.

There will probably be an MU specific tournament shirt or two for sale at MSG.

Or pay a nasty looking guy on the street to pull out his knife and cut off the sleeves. And hope he stops there.

I was very ticked off at myself I didn't take LaGuardia Link last year. I paid for a shuttle bus to Grand Central. They told me it would arrive at LGA in less than 20 minutes. I was wiped after a business trip so I figured why not. Then in became sorry, another 30 minutes, then another, then another.....
I was aggravated I didn't follow my gut and original plan and taken the LaGuardia Link bus to the Subway. I would have been back in Connecticut for the full amount of time I waited. At some point they offered me a refund, but said it's only another 20 minutes.
Turn some of them into unique sweater vests. Sell them on ebay when you get home and use the money to buy newer, better stuff.
Nothing like the Thursday late morning excitement on the streets around MSG during the BET. Helps that the weather is ridiculously nice. Ran into Lovell on 8th walking to MSG, tons of MU fans so far. Having been to the Big 10 & Pac 12 tournaments before, there's nothing that compares to the Big East at MSG.

Just left Mustang Harry's!!! Great place!!! Great crowd!!! Owner loves MU!!! Onto MSG and a big W coming tonight !!!! Go Warriors!!! 8-)
Back to MH after the game !!!
Coming down tomorrow. Can't pass up the semifinal. Too much fun.
UConn, St. John's, Providence, and Marquette in the semis. Should be a wild, raucous crowd. Hope you got your tickets early.

There's always going to be fans selling before the semifinals. Nova, SH, and X will be selling too. The supply will be there (although probably less because fewer people probably make the trip from Cinci and Omaha than NYC and CT). But with UConn, SJU, and PC, the demand will be pretty high.

Price is an output...high demand is because its going to be a crazy Fri night at the BET. If you don't need to buy a plane ticket/hotel/etc the calculus completely changes.
Wasn't sure which thread to post this
Anyone have 2 extra tickets for tonight? They'd be going to MU fans whose tickets fell through and now they're searching. Thanks in advance
Also, see everyone at Mustang Harry's again. Planning to get there around 4

We would recommend the steak nachos at Mustang Harry's. Delicious. And if you like Guinness, they have some unadvertised stout somehow related to Conor mcgregor that's pretty good. Can't remember the name.

I was wondering if any MU fans attending the game last night got stopped by NYPD on the way out to provide a statement as a witness to the criminal assault on Stevie along the baseline.
