Anyone else going? Any recommendations?
I'll be there.

If you need a great burger and a beer - Omaha Taphouse.

The "Old Market" area downtown is where you will want to eat and drink. Many different options. Very eclectic (sp?). The basketball arena as well as some hotels are also in the " Market". Very walkable neighborhood. Saturday afternoon game the streets there will be hopping.
Enjoy.
Flight costs not great. Having wild thoughts about driving down from the Twin Cities. 12% chance.

One of my buddies driving from Milwaukee
We went last year, stayed in Council Bluffs at Harah's. Just a 5 or so minute drive to the arena. The pregame party was at the hotel right across the street from the arena. Omaha is a lot like Milwaukee just without the lake.

I'm going out from Denver with my youngest son and my nephew(22' grad) is flying in to meet-up with us, staying downtown few blocks from arena. I'd second Old Market area as a good spot, been to M's Pub before and it is solid, some other good options downtown area as well.
Won't be an easy game but should be a good one......steak dinner if we pull the road W off and Arby's if we lose ;)

Driving from Denver! Can't wait, I'll be my first in person game since 2005.

Dang! Have fun and bring home a win!
Bringing my whole family (5) plus extended family. 11 total but 3 will likely be rooting for Creighton. Can't pick your family...
I have limited Omaha knowledge despite the handle. Enjoyed Au Courant in Benson, Boiler Room was pretty good in Old Market. We are hitting the Drover for dinner which I've heard is great.
Had cocktails in the Kimpton Cottonwood and the Crescent Moon across the street is a fun place. Skip cocktails at the Farnam downtown.
Creighton fans are annoying as crap. Ring Out Ahoya!
While I'm not going I'd 100% recommend Gather if you want a nice dinner. They have a massive hydroponic garden downstairs where all the greens and herbs are grown which is cool to see as well.

Great effort! Enjoy.
Trying to get some boys together to roadtrip!
Can you still get a great steak in Omaha?
Home of the Rueben.
Used to go to Omaha in the previous century. Little old lady at work would love to bring in a tray full of Reuben's. Just heaven.
I "think" the last playboy club was in Omaha...
So they got that going for them.
I stay at the Hilton Omaha it has a skywalk directly to the CHI Health Center so that makes things convenient . Also it is close to all the solid dining spots in the Old Market area .
Anyone have two extra tickets and want them to go to MU fans?

Sent you a PM.
The guy I'm going with has 4 extras, so if anyone is looking for a couple send me a PM or reply here.
Restaurants keep getting better and better by the arena.
Make a reservation at j Gilbert's if you still can for a great steak.
Don't bother with Let It Fly, you likely won't get a table.
Make sure to check out Gather in Omaha. It's in the old market and probably my favorite restaurant right now.
I haven't been to either but Memoir south of the arena and Dolomiti north of the arena are blowing up hype wise.
If you go to dolomiti you can also try cornflower, rated the best ice cream in the US by yelp, and Kros Strain taproom which stands up to any other brewery in the US.
Feel free to PM me for any specific recommendations.
