That's weak. San Diego's is beachside and already sold out, flying in Real Chili. And wtf is going on with the burgeoning Missoula Club? Flippers Casino. Yes!
I'll be at the Fiserv and surrounding bars for pre-/post-game clad in Championship Blue. Also making the pilgrimage from Mid-Town Tosa.
My wife and I are making the trip from Charlotte. We Are Marquette!
I will be in my usual season seats in the upper level
I did dig up up old navy blue sweatshirt for the occasion
I'll be there. We're pregaming at the Mecca Sports bar right?
I'll be upstairs at FF w/alums from Chicago and Philly.

Coming from near Chicago. Brat house has been our tradition usually with a stop at Points East for lunch, wearing Navy blue
Will be there with fellow alum brother. Can't wait. Still deciding on pre-game location.

That was me. Based on our names, I can understand the confusion.
Rest assured...I'm addicted. I just don't get back to Milwaukee much. I hadn't seen them play for years, but I did go to the BET the last two years. And I went to Columbus. Hoping for a nearby location in this year's tournament.
Will be there with the family and about 20 other friends/alums from my class.

We'll be in the bar at the Pfister from about 8:00 pm on tomorrow night. Drop by and say hello. First round is on me.

(From email received from MU) Blue & Gold Brewing LLC, a student-run business venture launched as part of an undergraduate applied learning program in Marquette University's College of Business Administration, has announced it will release The Beer Can, a cream ale named after the iconic former McCormick Hall residence hall, in time for National Marquette Day on Saturday, Feb. 10.
The Beer Can, with the tagline "The Can, the Myth, the Legend," is a cream ale with fruity and citrusy notes, featuring Michigan-grown Chinook hops and a smooth mouth feel. The beer will be available beginning Thursday, Feb. 8, at partner breweries Good City Brewing, Broken Bat Brewing and Gathering Place Brewing. The Beer Can will hit retail shelves on Friday, Feb. 9, and will be available at Fiserv Forum on National Marquette Day when the men's basketball team hosts St. John's. Tentative locations at Fiserv Forum are the BMO Club, the Jockey Club, and the Founders Room!

BMO Club
Event Level
Enjoy behind-the-scenes access and cheer on the team as they take the court from the BMO Club. This exclusive space is ideal for socializing with other courtside members and features all-inclusive food & beverage options. The BMO Club is reserved for guests who purchase tickets in the first four rows of seating at Fiserv Forum.
Jockey Club
Eastside of Fiserv Forum on the Main Concourse
The Jockey Club is an upscale lounge atmosphere that overlooks the atrium and features views of the Deer District Plaza. This premium space offers elevated arena fare and bar areas and is reserved exclusively for guests with tickets in rows 1-8 of sideline seating. Parking pass included with Full Season Membership.
Those two spaces have everything you'd need. If you need other beer options there are a TON of vendors at the FF.

The event level is where the VIP access is on the north or NE side of FiFo. As you pass through security, you can take an escalator up to the B&G (Jockey), walk to the BMO or take the elevators to the other club/suite areas (you can also enter via other random spots). You need passes and wristbands to enter any club.
Call the B&G for a wrist band. They offer a limited amount per game for a cost. I think it's like $15. You will get full access, starting 1.5 hours before.
https://www.fiservforum.com/premium-experiences/premium-spaces
Good City will also have the beer stocked up, so you can always have a couple two tree of 'em there and head over to Fiserv.

This year it's not available. Not sure why; not much going on in town this weekend.
I'll meet my friend Barry from Oconomowoc at Katie's Diner. I like starting off the morning with a Bloody Mary. They don't have chicken fried steak anymore so I'll order pancakes. I don't see Katie's on any of the lists for popular MNC hangouts but it's familiar to us so it's not a problem. Al loved the place. I always have. We ride the bus to the game for free and we don't have to worry about parking. Sometimes getting old has its benefits. Of course I miss the excitement going to the game with friends or with family. And there's nothing better than walking into the arena and people you know say "Let's follow him he know's the way".
What's so good is not thinking about anything in your life for a few hours and just enjoying the game. The tension and belief that the players are up to any challenge is always paramount. That's so nail biting some times. Tomorrow won't be a cakewalk but MU will win.
It's a trip. If you're coming from across the country you've already made your plans.
So I hope you all make the pilgrimage back to the past if you haven't been there in a while.
I understand this game is sold out. That's commonplace now. And it will stay this way.
This team will not bend or falter. Get revenge against Butler on the road and walk into Uconn on the 17th with a confidence that this team can score more points than any other team.
And then keep the run going.
I'll be watching from home as a favor to all MU. Given the only game I've attended in a couple years was the Butler game last month and it was obviously my fault we lost.

Thanks for your perspective, and thanks for continuing to support for all these years, and that goes for all the elder statesmen.
Do what makes you happy. If miss Katie's is it, then live that to its fullest.
You paint an amazing picture, and the only thing that would make that better is having to March down Wisconsin Avenue from Katie's after a Natty.

Goose, you said after the pre conference that it seemed like the team had played a gauntlet of teams and it felt like an entire season already. The team then hit a little lull. They probably felt the same way. It now feels like the beginning of a second season and our Warriors look fresh and ready to go. My excitement for one of the stronger finishes we've seen in MU history is still sky high.

This has been the most anticipated season in a very long time and my expectations are sky high. It has been a journey watching a group of guys playing together for 2-3 years and watching the growth. This team and fan base is ready for the next two months more than any time over the past 40+ years.
The second season is upon us and it is time to enjoy it big time. I have not taken for granted what Shaka has done for the program in very order and hope they achieve the ultimate goal this season.
This season has seemed extremely long and the rest of the way is going to go very fast and I'm glad I rested up, along with the boys, for 4-5 weeks. Now it is fxxkin go time.
Have fun at NMD. We are having a family NMD party at our house today for the game. My adult kids all bought into my hype 2+ years ago and watching with them. I said months ago that the journey may be more fun than the ultimate goal and we are going to light it up at my pad today.

Navy section today- 103- so I'll be in my new Wade jersey and Navy MU coat.
Slick head, no hair, so that should make me easier to spot because we are always the most handsome.
Holler if you see me 82. I'll buy ya a beer and we can talk some hoops

We're in 102 - gold section. Also a cueball but I'll be wearing my white MU hat. We're going to Carson's pregame, not sure postgame.
Just start randomly yelling 'Scoop' like the seagulls in Finding Nemo.
'Scoop? Scoop? Scoop?'

That sweatshirt is INCREDIBLE.
I am remembering a recent season where we got free t-shirts for both NMD and Al's Night.
This year, Bupkis.
Gruber needs to start stepping up again.

Unless they are ringing the bar bell stay away as they are just the Scoop Digital Beggars looking for free adult beverages.
This is why we have exorbitant membership fees here at MUScoop. It keeps the riffraff away.
Looks like Milwaukeans are not fond of NMD and Marquette in general.

Let's go Marquette! Anyone else at Goolsby's?
I hope Oilcan had a blast yesterday. Big time win and it looked like the FF was jumping. Hard to believe how far this program has come in a very short period of time.

Yes, I do remember those intelligent conversations on scoop. Thankfully, the folks that have deep pockets and know ball had a different plan for the men's basketball program.

I'm also glad the administration didn't listen to some on scoop that wanted Porter Moser
