I'll go Kolek because he did it when we weren't up 30.
But boy is it good to see Kam going nuclear. This team is scary if we're shooting like this.
Jop shot it well too. And Stevie totally owned Epps.

Who knew Kam just needed to tweak his ankle to get his shot back?

So desperate to start these cause you get excited when people talk on your thread you child. there's 8 minutes left and two people start this. God...
Oh no! We might lose!
They've scored 38 points in 33 minutes. If they go in a 42-0 run over the last 7 minutes I'll give you every single asset I own.
Feel free to start your thread when the clock hits 0. But the game is over.
Kam
No SOTG when we don't double up Georgetown
TK had 15/6 to build the blow out
Kam going bezerk was fun tho
Willie.
Johnny. For keeping me in check. My bad for starting this thread up 40. Norman or Al might steal SOTG down the stretch here in crunch time.

Alright I'm sorry lol
Kam
All 5 starters were very good today - but Kam was special.
Kam.
Good to have him back. 7 made 3's. Our offense is back and he will be a reason to keep it that way.
Sorry guys, without exception it was the Hoya defense. Wait a minute, there was no Hoya defense. I could swear I was watching some practice video.
Gotta be Kam.
I would go with Kolek because of what he did while the game was in doubt, but if it were Kam, Jop, or even Oso (10/10/3/3/2) I wouldn't disagree. Today it was more like Steamroller of the Game because we flattened them.
Georgetown and not even close. They suck so bad.
Loved seeing Kam healthy and really loved seeing him find his shot - especially given that he got kicked in the head at Nova (or so the announcers kept saying).
But the game was long over when he scored the vast majority of his points.
And it was over largely because Kolek dominated the game.
Sounds crazy with another guy scoring 31 ... but Kolek's actually a pretty easy choice for me.
Kam......but just about everybody played great........I'm starting to,think we are a bad matchup for the Hoyas....... 8-)
It was going to be Kolek until Kam went off. 31 points in 21 minutes. Career high.
Coming back off an injury and turning in that performance is a great sign for stretch run.
All five starter were outstanding today.
I'd say Kolek because Kam did most of his damage after Georgetown had already quit. Though, it was nice to see him get some confidence back nonetheless. I think the injury was a blessing in disguise and gave him a mental reset.
MU 82
Funny how the play by play guy kept saying that Kam took a knee to the head while the other guy kept saying Kam missed the last game. The one guy had no clue.
" when Georgetown quit " ??
Don't you have to first play before you can quit ?

They also kept calling Kam "Mitchell." They were a mess.
BTW ... With 14 minutes to go, we had a 28-point lead and Kam had 8 points. It was mostly Kolek and Jop on O, and Oso and Stevie on D.
Don't get me wrong - I'm thrilled that Kam apparently has found his shot again. But that was extended garbage time out there.
Kam for making sure Georgetown didn't comeback to take a 4 point lead.
Ksminstor
Kam Cam Man ! ! ! 8-)
Kolek but I loved what Kam brought in that 10 minute stretch in the second half. Incredible!
Tyler was in the lead, but Kam blew past him in the 2nd. half with that scoring explosion. Game was already over but hard to overlook that SOTG shooting & scoring performance by Kam.

Sims was a disaster. Turner was all right.

Kam seemed to have a good game.... Lol

That was my thought as well
Kam especially because of his personal best came after long layoff.
Kam. Guy goes 7 for 9 from 3 and a career high points on a gimpy ankle. This game was never in doubt.

For 10 minutes or so, until the 16-0 run put it out of reach.
Game was only in doubt at 0-0.

Everyone played well today. A total team blowout. Game was over with 6 minutes left in first half. Kam really put on a show in the second half and even though the game was no longer in doubt, I go for him. Tyler totally controlled the first half.
Kameron.
Don't overthink this one. Crap opponent with everyone clicking, but Mr Jones got his career high in a stellar career as a Golden Eagle.
Give em more of whatever they gave him on his break.
Kam. TK is a good choice too as others mentioned.
Honestly, everyone played pretty well. Outside of some sloppiness in the first 5-10 minutes this was one where everything came together.
Kam
Cam Mitchell. And watching the replay first while thinking of all the likely game thread comments, then going and reading the thread is gold, perhaps my new process. Well done boys, even Jop. Might have a hand on the door handle of the Jop wagon
It is the best process.
Kam. He deserves it for bringing sheer joy into an otherwise boring domination of Georgetown.

This. Love Kam, but Kolek was the one that killed Georgetown, Kam just presided over the funeral.

That is a heckuva great and accurate description. TK.
Tough call, but I'll go with Kam. Over 100% eFG% on 15 attempts, zero turnovers in 21 minutes. Yeeesh

That was my thought too. I guess it just means it happened earlier because the game was a start to finish walk over.
Kam
Kam for SOTG
Tyler Honorable mention
Kam
I still think Kolek was the most important player in the game - he was the driving force behind us getting an insurmountable lead while Kam only had 8 points well into the second half.
But if we separate Stud of the Game from "most important" or "most valuable" ... I admit that scoring a bazillion points in a relatively few minutes while raining 3s from all over the court is pretty studly. Sounds like most Scoopers think that's plenty for Kam to be SotG.
Kam.
I could go with Tyler or Kam.
Keep it up guys!
I get the argument that Tyler did it when the game "was still in question" but that was a glorified buy game. It was never truly in question. Ergo, give it to the most impressive performance, Mr. Jones

Reasonable take.
