There was a minute or two of the first half where Ross, Zaide, Stevie, and Oso were all on the court at once. I believe Jop was the 5th. But my goodness that is 4 incredible defenders, and if Jop was the 5th, he's been solid as well.
You can throw out those 4 and then depending on the matchup go smaller with Kolek/Kam who both get deflections, or bigger with Jop/Gold and make sure you're working to finish possessions with the rebound.
Jop's D is light years ahead of last year. His defensive intensity is helping his offensive game and vice versa. He is our X factor. He's been playing great basketball this past month.

It was this point last year that he took a jump on D and settled into an offensive role. Jop is critical to any deep tourney run in nyc or ncaa
#1 defense in the BE
Very pleased with how Jop has played on defense of late.

And Jop has gotten better at no5 gettin* trapped at the basket on drives.... Kicked one out nicely and is doing much better there too

It appears he's taking a lot of pride in his defense - bought in. He's still going to have his rough moments, but like the trend I'm seeing. #pray
