I think everyone here who is panicked or worried or questioning anything this team has built and is building towards, should watch this.
It just gets better and better. Shaka and Stevie just exude confidence. Season is just beginning.
That was a good session. Jennifer Lada is terrific and it was a joy listening to both Shaka and Stevie ty for posting
I too think they will be fine, but it all starts with Tyler getting out of his funk/slump.

JFC. It's a coaches show. Of course that's what the tone is going to be.
I grew up in Madison watching John Jardine explain that they were just a play or two away in a 56-0 game against Michigan.

It actually struck me while watching that one of the biggest silver linings of the SJ22 and Chase injuries might just be the re-incarnation of Stevie offensively...
This team will now need him on that end, more than it ever has.
There was a point where we all hoped we would see more from him on the offensive end- more aggressiveness, better shooting and shot making, some of the elite scoring ability we had heard about. Then, I'd say that most of us kind of gave up on that hope and considered him out most elite defender and ultimate glue guy.
Well, now, I think he will have added opportunity and the added minutes, as well as a little extra drive to give more for his fallen homies.
I can see it.

Hallucinate all you please. Pure evidence shows it is not getting better and better.

Wow! Brings back memories. Jardine was coach at Fenwick HS and I was at the city championship game in 1962 where we won 40-0, completing an undefeated season. The game was a sellout at Soldier Field on a bitterly cold day.
Oh...one more thing. I was a spectator, not a player. ;D

Trying to remember the name of the great Fenway running back that year. I also grew up in Madison, Uncle Millie was the coach during my time. :)

Willie is not wrong.
Willie is a front runner that only posts when things are going bad and is always negative. He's Randy Quaid's character from Major League 2

Umm..Fenway? ;D
Di Lullo. Went to Notre Dame but suffered a career-ending injury early on.
My Gawd he could outrun and out maneuver just about any opponent on the field!
Fenwick High School defeated Schurz H.S. in the Prep Bowl 40 to 0 at Soldier Field with 92,000 in attendance which is still a high school record.
John Jardine was the Fenwick coach and that game got him the UW-Madison job.The Fenwick offensive line averaged 280lbs which was more than the Bears line at that time yet Fenwick came into that game a 12 point dog.
Jim Dilullo scored 5 touchdowns in that game.I dressed as a sophomore but did not get in the game.

Very cool you were on that team. Thanks for sharing. Long line of Fenwick grads in my family. I am one as well. I remember my father talking about being at that game.

That's it and to add to my typing woes it's Uncle Miltie, not Millie. :)
