I knew the offense was worse, but holy balls those numbers are ugly.

A tourney team no matter what numbers you look at.
The difference is the teams they've played on the road are Illinois, UW-Madison, Providence, Seton Hall. Not Notre Dame, Northern Illinois, Rider, etc.
48th through 4 games on the road isn't that concerning to this point IMO.

I don't think anyone realistically thinks they won't make the the tourney.
It's not the ranking, it's the numbers that are problematic.
12 - Thanks for the info
Those numbers are AWFUL. I know lots of posters just think MU will
" turn it around " ... I'm not convinced.
I think it's fine to be concerned while also acknolwedging that there is a real possibility they figure it out. Last year it came early in the year with the back to back road wins vs SJU and Nova. This year it could come later or not at all.
If they go 2-2 in the next two road games with losses at Nova and SJU and wins vs Georgetown and DePaul, I won't be concerned. But they do need to figure out how to beat middle of the conference teams away from home by the end of the year. Different teams figure things out at different times. You can see the ceiling, they just need to reach it.
I'm encouraged that the defense is still top 25 away from home.
The entire Seton Hall team shot for 90 minutes+ before Saturday's start. Tyler was out by himself shooting for about 55. Sean joined him for 45. The rest of the team about 30 minutes with Stevie and then Kam out for 15 minutes. I suspect the later two were receiving leg treatments (yes, Kam is banged up).
I am not sure the philosophy on game day shoot arounds but I must say I was more surprised by Seton Hall's philosophy than Marquette's. The results, however, were counter to my surprise. I do know MU traveled in later Friday due to a community event with the Mayor.

I don't think anyone thinks that either. Just pointing out that even at their worst against 4 good opponents on the road they are playing to the caliber of a bubble team.
NBA lines, shooting backgrounds and senior days at opposing venues continue to ruin our program
Not that I really care, but I would assume two very good road performances would balance things out nicely. They have played four road games and three were against ranked teams in a tough environment. To be honest, those numbers only tell part of the story, imo.

Appears you are channeling Dodds.
I know they were at an event w / the mayor ( and co. Exec apparently). It was pretty private.
A. What was the point of this ?
B. How late did they get in ?
Anyone know ?

Yep, the numbers aren't very meaningful without context. How do they compare with other teams playing similar schedules?
