Now that Maui is done....Lets get the UW-Madison roll call going.
We will be in 220. See you at Wandos
Section 201
I'm there.
Have my tickets. 18th time.
Well done, Sir.
Hell of a week of basketball. Going to be fun season.
In. With Madison law school daughter (she will be rooting for MU).
Nosebleeds. 323/K
Haven't missed this game in over 20 years. Section 123 Row H. Wearing bright Gold. We are Marquette.
Section 326 was the best I could get, but always fun to be there and win. It is usually a close game where rankings don't matter.
Section 107
Sec 121
I'll be somewhere in the 300s with my dad and brother.
I have 2 in Sec 319 Row J if anyone is interested. Sell them for what I paid.

Giving up after the Purdue loss?

Giving up after the Purdue loss?
Upgraded.....from sec 319 to 5 rows behind MU bench!
I'll be there--Section 221. My UW-Madison-STH-boss handed me his season tickets for this one. Apparently he can't get himself to stomach the beatdown in person. ;D
I'll be there in Section 126
Will be there with 2 other MU buddies. Not sure about Section, someone else secured the tickets, but its lower bowl.
LFG
Here's a Scoop homework assignment/challenge for everyone going behind enemy lines: We all know how insufferable the Bagder fans can be. Come home with a story of how $hitty the UW-Madison fans were at/before/after the game. This will be entertaining for all of the Scoopers who can't make the trek, and will provide Scoop content that you won't find anywhere else. Let's Goooooooooo!!

Can I tell everyone how insufferable and arrogant my behavior is going to be? Like most people, I love winners and we have winning program at an extremely high level, which is not a good thing with my personality. I think my level of arrogance is going to be a combination of the fanbases of Duke, Kansas and Kentucky and just a hint of an alum from ND. If anyone happens to be near me, I will be the guy yelling "run in up" from the opening tip. I might get into my real arrogant persona of pretending Shaka should call off the wolves because UW players are college kids, just like our players.
Good stuff Goose--let us all know how the loser fans react to you on Saturday!

I will be in Jay Cutler mode, "Don't Care".
We enjoyed watching the Warriors beat a good Southern University team last night. We talked to the Southern players after the game as they were being given pizzas. They were exhausted. They felt they were quick bit Marquette was quicker and tougher. They expect to win their conference.
Wish we had tickets to watch the Warriors flatten the rodents. Enjoy! Ring Out Ahoya!

I'm well prepared for the "sit down" yells from the rows behind me for when I stand to cheer when we make a play. Happens every single time...
Wish flags were permitted in the Kohl Center...
I have been to many MU - WI GAMES in Madison.
Some have been victories, and others have been defeats, I have never run into obnoxious behavior there.
I hope you all represent us with some class.

Honestly every time I've been at Kohl people have been fine, or at the very least indifferent to my presence. Not nice necessarily but not jerks either.
Sorry to ruin the image of insufferable Badger fans, but pretty much everyone in the Midwest is easy to deal with, at least until they get behind a keyboard.
Finally, we are far and away the better team. Let's act with some class. No need to be dicks.

I'm taking this as another opportunity to represent our fine University as we travel behind enemy lines.

Yeah, I am not able to attend this year, but I have attended multiple MU games at the Kohl Center dressed in full MU gold and outside of a couple side-eyes when things are going Marquette's way, have had no issues pre, during and post game. (Marquette is 3-2 when I have attended BTW.) Honestly outside of a weird love of slow-paced basketball, their fans are pretty normal.
If the Badger faithful will be doing a whiteout. MU fans will definitely not be just another face in the crowd.
I hope we can get a nice 15-20 point cushion by the under-12 timeout in the second half and really let the "We Are Marquette" chant rip for the Big Fox broadcast.
I think the Kohl Center is going to like Solider Field during a Packer-Bear game. Come the four-minute timeout in the second half it will be MU fans left to enjoy the last couple of minutes.

Why'd you have the go there Goose? Bears mentions are a low blow.

LOL, good luck with that!
Thanks. That is very kind . I think everyone here appreciates your good luck wishes. It is also good that you are able to laugh.

I do understand how that could be taken as a low blow, but thought it was a feeling that some on here could relate to.

I'm sure Badger fans won't mind given that there is no rivalry to see here. They'll probably already be back at their computers in their completely normal routines of creating accounts on Marquette fan boards to troll.

Ha! I know. I had that feeling once with the Bears when I attended MU in the late 80s and early 90s. Haven't felt it since. I'm trapped in Bears amd White Sox and Bulls and for now, Black Hawks hell. Thank God MU is good.

The only time I experienced any over the top attitude from Badger fans was the Maymon year when his father was agitating the crowd.
A Wisco season ticket holder told me they played the end of our 2017 Nova game on the Jumbotron during halftime or timeout(they had a home game that night) and a lot of people cheered.

I was typing a reply about how my coffee hadn't kicked in and that I was mentally struggling with why Wisconsin would play a highlight from an upcoming opponent beating a No.1 team, assuming this was at a game last week. The 3rd time I read your post I caught the "they had a game that night" and realized they played the highlight the night of the game.
I'm still a little baffled but I guess it could have been just a generic college basketball highlight package that happened to include an MU game highlight.
Or maybe this is just a weird dream because who among us hasn't replied to MU Scoop posts in our dreams? I'm going back to bed.
