What are everyone's thoughts, specifically to the suing of the school? Say what you will about the D.A, and the cities possible responsibilities in this, but the school?
I for one think Duke doesn't own any of them a single dime.
Unless it was so much money that it bankrupted their school and they couldn't afford to have a basketball team anymore, and forced Kyle Singler to cry :'(
My recollection is that the school admins and most of the faculty threw these kids under the bus--the immediate and visceral reaction of the Duke University power structure was to blame their own players , instead of obtaining the facts. Now whether that is actionable in North Carolina or not is unknown to me.

I'm all for it....when I saw the full page ad that the Duke University faculty put out CONDEMNING the student athletes and basically saying they were guilty...damn right I hope they sue the school and milk them hard. To this day, most of the professors that signed that ad still have not apologized. Total disgrace.
