I listen to sports talk radio to unplug, maybe laugh, get some sports 'news' and generally to be entertained. Like most people I have learned to live with mixed metaphors and poor use of the English language. I think low expectations are the rule of thumb if you listen to sport radio.
But... this morning on NBC Sports Radio, Mike Florio in reference to a replay in the Lions v Raiders talked about how the NFL "opened a box full of Pandora" and went on to explained that the NFL " opened a box and there was Pandora all over the field".
Shouldn't someone in the communications industry have a pedestrian idea of the concept of Pandora's Box?
Let Sweeney tell him how dumb he is.
Depends what your definition of is is
I think expecting anything out of Florio sets you up for disappointment.
Maybe there was jewelry all over the field.

That's what a smart person would do. I also put myself through the self inflicted pain of being a Bears, Bulls and Whit Sox fan. Picking MU over Purdue for college was my only smart decision.
