"You should own a 12 gauge pump shotgun loaded with 00 buckshot as your primary home defense weapon. You should own a 9 mm or larger semi-automatic pistol with a manual safety - I recommend a Beretta, a SIG Sauer, or a Ruger - and at least one AR-15. You should own a holster and multiple magazines for the pistol, and multiple magazines and a sling for the AR. Keep them all loaded.
