This should lead to some interesting discussion....

Now if we could just find Bluteaux.

Last report had him spotted on Sesame Street using the name Grover.

I love the argument that putting it on display or allowing pictures to be taken might lead to replication. Aren't there enough pictures out there in the world that, if someone truly wanted to, they could make a replica anyway?

While I was a staunch proponent of the Warriors name but not necessarily the old imagery, I still feel it is a part of MU history, and as such should be far less taboo. But we'll never see that happen.

As for Bluteaux, I would give anything to be able to wear that one for a game!

why do I get the feeling that PRN and my man 4never are plotting right now, buying black clothes, facemasks, and a blowtorch, planning a late night raid of the archives?

I could care less about that thing. In fact, they should burn it. I have never heard of a single solitary person who advocated a return to the Willie Wampum days. Just give us "Warriors" and a non-denominational logo/mascot and we'll place our current excrement in the toilet where it belongs.

Well it's better than his story where he picked us to lose to UNC-Willmington in the NIT.

I'm sure Bluteaux is there too.  I'd love to see that guy!

Maybe we can use this as a guise to get us a "look see" at the Lanche sign.  The Knight's Templar is as at work here, I suspect.

Welcome to a year of my life, co-chairing Students For Warriors. It was staggering how many people just assumed we wanted the imagery back when, right at the top of our web site, we made it clear that we were advocating a return to the Warriors NAME.

If you notice, the only people that ever suggest that people want a return to Native American imagery is the over the top PC crowd. They site people wearing old Warrior stuff -- the only things people own that say "Warriors" -- as proof of this.

Their logic is as ridiculous as the name change itself.
