She's taking out surfers in Santa Cruz. Solutions? This is most unusual. I have tremendous respect for the experts at Monterey Bay Aquarium. They are true heroes who have saved countless sea otter pups. But this is an unprecedented situation. Should she be captured and in captivity or can we figure out why she is so angry?
Is she eating the surfers she takes out, or just gutting them?
Maybe in cahoots with the manatees?
Great. Now the otters are getting orca-nized.

She's not eating them but has essentially stopped them from surfing by usurping their boards.

Sea otters have jumped on boats to escape Orcas. This is different and no one really knows why she is behaving this way.
Yes, her behavior is ott-er than usual.

She was born in captivity and then released in 2000 which I did not realize. Anyway, she's upset about something.
Ott-tempered?
Ott-mess?
Just shoot the stupid thing and be done with it
I heard the otter learned productive survival skills while in captivity.

This is a troubling response and Sea Otters are highly intelligent.
She used to be in an otterbox?

Maybe we can find a good otter with a gun.

Maybe you and others are attacking an innocent species, that was almost wiped out because of human rapacity, for no reason. Not to mention they play a vital role in our ecosystem and are masters at maintaining our sea kelp forests. We refuse to respect and honor our marine mammals and this particular case is a complex situation.
Otters are doomed.
No otter way of looking at it.

God gave humans dominion over animals. That means when animals become nuisances (or tasty when slow roasted over heat) it is our god-given responsibility to take them out by any means possible.
This is an otter mess.

Should have taught it to write a letter...
put out a bounty. there's 840 other otters so we can take this one out and send a message.
Another bear attack in Yellowstone. Humanity is doomed.
