This kid is a pretty fun player to watch. I can see him being a 1st team all Big East in 2 years. Great athlete.
only real contributor on a really young st. john's team.
Feel bad for them, at one time they were awesome and with all the talent in NY/NJ, I don't get it. Think they have 13 turnovers already, but our fouls are keeping it close. Should be up by at least 20.

Mason is a junior, so he won't be in New York in two years. You are right, though, he is fantastic. Love his game.
My bad, I thought he had a red shirt year.
Anybody else think he looks like Arthur Agee of Hoop Dreams fame?

I read this thread with the intent of posting the same thing...
It's too bad he doesn't carve intricate designs into his hair like his dad did when he was on the Knicks. That was awesome.
Last night Homer and Jimmy Mac seemed to think the opposite. They continually called him the black whole and when they were making their run at the end of the game they kept pointing out that he was on the bench and kept saying St. John's was much better with him out of the game. They also said over and over that EVERY time he caught the ball he traveled.

That is true.
we made a run at recruiting him and lost, would have been a good get with the players we have.
