Not really a suggestion but a question. How is total post count determined?
No possible way I add up my posts from different boards equals my total post count. Just wondered how total posts are calculated!

I don't believe posts made to the Superbar count in your total.
Why is that?
SoCal is right - superbar topics do not count in your total. But also, stats can get a "off" if a moderator moves a topic. So if you posted something in a thread on the hoops board, and a mod moves it to the superbar, then it still counts in your total after it's been moved. We do have an admin tool that readjusts post counts to account for things like this, but I only run that a couple times a year.

Why is that?
Well, the general thought was that people with a higher post count get a certain amount of "street cred". If you spend all your time in the superbar and not much time talking about hoops then the numbers get thrown off. This way, when you see higher post counts you know that those people spend a good amount of time reading about/talking about hoops, and not just lots of random water cooler stuff.
True, although a lot of the offseason talk, outside of recruiting, happens in the Superbar, no?
Ultimately, it's neither here nor there, I rarely pay attention to the counts myself, but it definitely had my curiosity when I noticed the difference a couple of weeks back and posted on it.
it's the "Chicos Bail Bonds" clause. :D
