Was thinking that it is somewhat unusual for a team to have 2 lefty players that play significant minutes like MU currently has. Started thinking about past MU lefties and came up with this list, which I am sure there are more. Can anybody add to it?
Gary Rosenberger
Trevor Powell
Mark Anglavar
Kerry Trotter
Ty Baldwin?
Walter Downing
Odell Ball
Marcus Washington?
Were either Russ Wittberger or Walt Mangham lefties? Seem to remember one may have been
Feel free to add to above.

And Marquette actually has 3 lefties with Ross.
Biggest advantage ive noticed is that teams close out on their right hand a ton, giving them a little cleaner look.
Benny Moore played next to Trotter.

Tom Copa was ambidextrous. He couldnt catch or shoot with either.
the freshman phenom Haanif Cheatham
Far more lefties than righties, aina?
Not to be political, but Father Groppi was a lefty way ahead of the times.

Well, the only mass shooting I want to see tonight is the 3pt kind.
Tom Copa was a year ahead of me. I had a couple of classes with him. Decent enough guy. Tremendous physical specimen. Did not have a soft touch around the basket. I do remember a breakaway dunk attempt or two that went off the back rim and landed in press row.

I thought this was political, too, shows the world we live in today. If so, I was going to put in Fr. Peter Marchetti, S.J., my political sociology teacher at MU in 1980, about as left as the come. Believed in liberation theology (Marxism and Catholicism are not only compatible, but co-existent). Worked with the Sandinistas in Nicaragua as I remember. He is MU's biggest lefty.
He even got a scoop reference about a decade ago. https://www.muscoop.com/index.php?topic=42020.0

Cam Marotta
Maymon
Mbakwe
Deonte Burton
And Rowsey was kind-of left-handed every once in a while.
Matt Carlino
Wasn't Walter Ellenson?
