Hoping you are wrong.
This system where some teams tourney games count toward seeding but others don't is ridiculous - surely that has to be a focus for reform?

The fix for it is to give the committee more time to do the bracketing (ie making selection sunday next Sunday instead). Although, it's not worth the buzz kill that would create, imo. One of the best things about college basketball is the momentum just keeps going. I think College Football gets this wrong where teams have several weeks off after the regular season.
Some tourneys ending on Sunday is nonsense tho. The Big ? winners are barely out of the showers before the selection show is happening. At least give the committee a night/morning to factor in the results.

Even if they banned Sunday games, it would help. Instead of finalizing votes on Sunday, it's all Bracketing with an eye toward what happens in the B10, A10, and American, they would know the field and just be able to seed it right. Spend the whole day tweaking the field and it would lead to a better result.
