Could someone please explain to me WTF that was which led to a 10 min stoppage? Why was this allowed? Ty.
He thought there was a flagrant and asked the refs to check.
They need to institute NFL style challenge rules... you risk a TO if you call for a review and nothing changes.

When no one was basically touched? Or was it from a play 10 mins earlier?
On one of the very first replays they showed, it started when the Butler player was still out on the perimeter. As he started his drive, it looked like OMax swiped down and maybe connected with the guy's face. I figured that's what they were looking at, but they never again showed a replay with the start of the drive. Those of you with the technology, can you check that. I'm curious if what I thought I saw was correct.
The explanation was they were looking at Marq's cuts on the other end .... Didn't know a coach could just ask for a look (twice actually) from a minute prior
I think the refs were just enjoying watching tape of MU's ball movement. :D

"Violence, cuts, slashes"
I think the BE refs need to update their vocabulary to understand today's basketball terminology. Too woke
I was just as confused as anyone and went back and watched our previous offensive and that whole defensive possession. When we were on D, a Butler player cuts through the lane and Kolek gives him a bump as he was going out to the wing to set a screen. Matta saw it and immediately goes after the ref with the possession still going on and continues once the foul at the basket was called. It wasn't much...I'm surprised the refs gave it two looks.
usually, from my experiences watching ball anyway, you would see a player reacting from a "cut" or a "slash" or a swipe, or in some players cases, a macpunch below the ole breadbasket.
for the refs to spend that amount of time because a coach, what? asked them to? hell, if that becomes the standard, the abuse is obvious-freebie time out. the network was pissed because they couldn't squeeze in a couple quick commercials. either thad has a lot of pull or his last name still carries some weight-for those of you in rio linda-the eyetalian part?

Excellent point. That was ridiculous imo.
