Steve seems to have good form on his jumper. Can he improve on his 3 point shot? Seems to be a confidence thing. That could really give this team a boost.
He is shooting 30.5% for the year. If three corner jumpers in 28 games hadn't spun out, this question isn't asked. So, sure, I expect him to shoot better next year.

So he's putting spin on them?
Nice. Yes, a gentle back spin.

He's also shooting 33% in conference play. No one will confuse him for an elite shooter but his 3P shooting is perfectly acceptable.
He is 18-59. So, actually, two more go in and this isn't a question.

But he didn't.

Yup...he had a period of time where he looked afraid to get the ball in a situation where he had a wide open 3...that's no longer the case. If he can keep his defender honest...he's good to go.
Oso looked similar during the first half of the Creighton game.
Shaka and company know how to help kids through that...

Which is why I look at both volume and percentage. Kolek has a slightly better 3 point percentage than Kam, but Kam has more than double the number of makes and attempts. Thus, I would say Kam is the more dangerous shooter.
As for Stevie, he's a low volume shooter that can occasionally knock down 3s. I think his form needs some work. Low release point and not a very smooth shooting motion. I always feel like he's shooting a knuckleball.

Seems to me his right elbow seems to wander out a little rather than being underneath the ball. Tough to be real consistent that way. He seems to have a knack for hitting clutch buckets though and he sure knows how to time his cuts on the baseline when Kolek has the ball. Feels like nit picking to find anything negative about any of these guys right now, and the sum is even greater than the parts. What a nice concept.
