Who is heading to the game on Saturday v DePaul? How far are you coming from to attend the game? I'm coming in from DC.
Looks like MU has a chance to clinch at least a share of the Big East regular season title if UConn can beat Providence this week. Should be a great game to attend in person!
Im keeping my perfect attendance rolling. Coming in from Delafield, Wi.
Mrs. 82 and I will be there, making the trip from Charlotte. Four others in our party -- our son from Chicago, and our buddies from Detroit and Chicago.
First Marquette game I've been able to make this season. Can't wait! Then going to Hinkle for that win, too.
It's a home game. Might want to ask who won't be there.
Court storm
Wouldn't miss it. Let's have a damn party.

Awesome, bring home those dubuyas
I have a dinner for my birthday that was planned for in advance...so no go for me.
But will be at Butler and for St John's.
If UConn beats PC I'll go. Chance to see a championship in person would be massive
Bringing a group of 5 from La Crosse.
Does anyone know if Broken Bat Brewery (or other bars in the Third Ward) has a shuttle to and from MU games?
Will be there with the family. Wife and I have taken the kids to several games over the years (since 2014 or so) but super excited they're finally getting a chance to experience the atmosphere of watching a top 10 team at home in person.
I thought dgies received tickets and a one way plane ticket to Milwaukee for Christmas. Well, actually, he told us the return flight is to Havana.
Which game are you going to (or already went to) dgies?
I'll be there, making the long drive in from Waukesha!
I'm coming in from Raleigh and have a group of 30+ coming from all over.

I'll be there from the Chicago area. Only my 2nd game of the year. A big group of college buds are coming in from all over the country.
Weather permitting coming in from South Dakota
Will be there from the Chicago area and heading to Hinkle next week!
Weather needs to cooperate, but planning to drive from the Twin Cities for the game (need 2 tix, btw).
Hopefully can head out by late AM Friday... need this blizzard to wrap up by early afternoon tomorrow.

Heck yeah! We should get a spot for Scoopers to meet up before the game at Hinkle. I think 82 had a bar in mind.
Or is there some sort of alum meetup before? Either way, see you there!

There is a bar right next to the stadium; Chatham Tap I believe. My daughter is a frosh at Butler so I am not sure of my pre-game "obligations" as of now, but would be interested in meeting up with Scoopers if I can. I'll continue to follow the conversation on that.
I posted in the Trading Post, but I do have two extra pretty good tickets I would prefer to sell to MU fans. Please message me if interested in hopefully seeing MU clinch the outright title.

It was for Nova / Butler (NMD), we had a few and dinner. By the way truth is Mrs dgies wanted a vacation from dgies.
Me and the fam, total of 6, coming in from Sheboygan.
Game looking like a sell out. Only 3 non-resale tickets left on ticketmaster, all singles. And re-sale tickets are pretty sparse as well.
I have acquired aisle seats.
For having so much MU attire, I've noticed I have barely anything in gold.
Zaide Lowrey will be there.

Funny story. Me and my MU buddies who are scattered all across the country wanted to get together for one game this year. We were picked 9th in the conference and our expectations were low, so we collectively thought the DePaul game would give us one of the best chances to see a victory on a weekend home game. That's why we picked it: best chance to see a win together.
Turns out, it is actually the game MU will most likely clinch a share of the Big East title. Crazy how that ended up.

I will keep my season ticket attendance streak going. My family (group of 6) will be there in 226 the small section corner. I will likely be loud and full of Busch light per the usual.

I'll be in attendance with 9 others:
The other 3 in my season ticket group
Brother and 8 year old nephew - his first game*
Sister and 13 year old niece - her second ever game (went to Xavier with me last year)
Parents
We planned this back in January not expecting the stakes to be this high... but damn do I love that they are.
*Taking the kid to the Bucks game on Friday night with a chance of Sunday as well. His frame of reference is the Wisconsin Herd so expecting him to be blown away. Packed his travel bag on Tuesday night and has already told his dad that this is going to be the greatest weekend of his life.
I have 2 tix upper deck aisle. 221 I think.
Cost is free.99. Message me
I will be there with one of our daughters as usual with my season tickets (Section 222, midcourt upper level).
Our other daughter who lives in town (also a former student Fanatic who alternates with her sister going to the games with me) bought one for herself a couple of days ago because she wants to see something special.

Looking at DePaul they've had some players coming back and going out from injury lately.
Biggest news is that their starting C, Nick Ongenda, is back after being injured all season. In his three games back his offense has looked all out of sorts (shooting 30% from the field) but his defense and rebounding are in form. He's averaging almost 8 boards and 6! blocks a game. He has also fouled out of 2/3 games.
Right after Ongenda came back, they lost his replacement, Yor Anei, to a hamstring injury. He's considered day to day and may play on Saturday.
Jalen Terry came back from about a month long absence. He's an undersized scoring SG that comes off the bench.
Zion Cruz, the highest rated recruit in recent history for DePaul, missed two games with injury, played an uninspiring 7 minutes against Xavier, and then didn't play in their last game. He has been a massive disappointment considering he was Depaul's first top 50 recruit in a long time.
Even if all 4 are available to go, I still expect a double digit beatdown by Marquette. DePaul's only hope at keeping close is if Gibson, Johnson, and Gerbrewhit all go bonkers from three while we have an off shooting night. Even if that happens, we've shown in recent games that we can win under those circumstances against better competition.
