This will make Muggsy's day.

Apparently the rooster was upset about something.

Avoiding any of the tired Fox News tropes, this is one of the most incredible news articles Ive read in a long time.

-"Violent past"
-stock photo of an angry looking rooster
-rooster somehow punctures his femoral artery in his calf
-softly mutters "rooster" when dying like "Rosebud" in Citizen Kane
-Daughter saying there should be blood cleanup support for animal inflected death situations

Its like an Onion piece...except the Irish Examiner is a 180 year old newspaper

Easy and obvious joke is that the guy had it coming due to previous interactions with the rooster.   Battered rooster syndrome.

Tsmith suffers from battered cock syndrome.

But it's self inflicted on his wee, wee, wee weewee.

Never turn your back on a rooster.
Getting flogged is never fun.
Innate in them to want to do it.
Some meaner than others.
Equivalent to pounding a nail in your calf.

Tastes a bit like Spotted Owl. Or California Condor.

Thank you for the warm compliment considering I wasn't trying to write a haiku.
