I must admit my expectations the last two years put me in that COLE group. After last nights game I am eating the most juicy, tender, tasty crow I have ever eaten. More delectable than beating #1 Villanova. More savory than the few NCAA well one and dones over the last few years. I hope for more crow to be on the menu in the coming weeks. Keep the crow coming.
How do you like your crow cooked?
Crow-q au vin?

Crowted in bread crumbs and deep fried?

No need to eat crow. That said, we are relearning the powerful message of a leader of men, what team looks like and focusing on the task at hand. I loved that Stevie mentioned Kolek's famous preseason quote during the presser.
As happy as I am, I more happy for Shaka and the team. Shaka and the boys have won over a fanbase, and soon the nation, and very happy for them.

I can't complain about anyone that didn't see this coming. I just wish we could convert the few who haven't bought in by now. This team has been a joy to watch, and I am looking forward to few "extra" opportunities.
And pass a Crow-monsieur

Anyone that has not bought in, as missed out on a ton of fun and probably never will buy in. There are plenty of fans on the Shaka bandwagon and it has left the station.

So glad you have come into the light. Tower, Goose and others have been understanding. I have certainly not been and beat up on you repeatedly. I really should have let it go. You are already 75 and I will be there in April. Time to focus on the Shaka Era and only visit the Al Era for warm memories.
For those who believe in ghosts, I really believe Al would scream at us "Get behind Shaka and stop coming back to the sixties and seventies. And I have been dead for years, so please leave me alone! Keep it up and I will punch you put. "
Are we good?

No need to fire-up the slow cooker just yet. Maybe get it off from the top shelf, but let's see how things play out through the BE tourney.

You do know people can disagree with each other and still be good, and by the way I just turned 76 last month. Happy 75 in a few weeks.

Sixties and seventies? I'll be happy when Scoopers stop revisiting the past few Februaries. It's a different team, a different time. We're 4-1 THIS February! Celebrate THIS team!

Hey, I'll be 77 in a few months. Enjoying the heck out of this season, but I will continue to celebrate 1977. I was there at the Omni that spring and those memories are still fresh. Enjoying both to the ultimate.

Me, you, Lenny, muwarrior 69, and a number of other scoopers need to form the Marquette Old Farts Association (MOFA). Our first order of business should be to get our annual scoop dues reduced. Then, we should...we should umm .....oh,
never mind!

Great to hear how long you have been cheering on the program. With that in mind, what is your take on this season in a MU historical perspective?
I love hearing the views of as many MU fans as possible. This year, especially the last few weeks, many less frequent posters are posting more and new faces are on scoop. That is a great sign for interest level in the program.

With the old, old guys coming out of the woodwork you are seeming much younger to me all of sudden. Maybe we can find some over 90y posters and you and Lenny will seem like recent grads.

Old Crow Traveling Medicine Show
Goose, I remember crouching by the radio, trying to pick up the broadcast back then, minimal tv. My parents then thought I was crazy, listening to all the radio static as I tried pick up the Milw station. And then so many colorful names, "the black swan, air craft carrier, bones, " Actually, my wife still thinks I a bit crazy when I jumped when Omax makes the final basket.
A great tribute to the coach, players, and school when Stevie did comments, "we actually love each other" How nice to hear in this age of anger.
Congratulations on being able to jump.

Great stuff. I agree on the character of the team 100% How far do you think they can go? I think they could make a run at the FF, but will need some luck.
